The Mezco One:12 line has always hit that sweet spot for me. Not so expensive that I have to sneak it in my house without my wife noticing, but pricey enough so that it feels like a bit a of a special treat. This line hasn’t been all wins for me personally, but Old Man Logan took the year’s top spot in March 2018 and hasn’t been topped yet. The downsides to this figure are the same as all of the one:12 line (not enough weathering on the soft goods), but the positives are astounding. Engineering, sculpt, playability, accessories—this is the toy I haven’t been able to put down all year.
