Let’s keep the Star Wars trooper love going today with a look at the Bandai Rogue One Shoretrooper model kit!
I know the figure looks plain in these pictures but I’m planning on adding decals, paint, and weathering all in one go later. This, the K-2SO, and the 1:6 scale Stormtrooper will be a part of the #waterslideparty. Hopefully soon.
But I do have to say, Bandai has improved their standard decals since the last time I used them. They seem a lot thinner, able to wedge down into nooks a lot better than before. The stripe on the left shoulder pad is a regular decal and it formed to the shape perfectly, even the ridge down the middle. So that warrants further experimentation.
Otherwise, this is a great kit. I still love the Black Series troopers but the model kit makes an awesome front and center Captain or Squad Leader. Or grunt, all three are possible with this kit.
This kit is currently available on Amazon from overseas third party sellers. It will take a few weeks to arrive but it’s a good price.
