Bandai: S.H. Figuarts Padmé Amidala (Star Wars: Attack of the Clones) Promotional Images and Pre-Order Info

Figuarts is keeping them Star Wars S.H. Figuarts coming hot and heavy, releasing promotional pictures and info for the Attack of the Clones Padmé Amidala. Yay, right? EXCLUSIVE! I thought I’d get that out there first.

Just like Anakin, Padmé is a Soul Web exclusive, but unlike him she doesn’t have some confusing early bird special release extra parts and pieces.

It’s just the figure, a couple of sets of hands, the blaster, and two heads. The likeness here is okay from some angles, not so great from others. But the overall figure looks great.

She’s listed for $55 on the Bandai Collectors Shop with a sale date of Jan 20th and a release date of June.

well that might as well be the wholesale price because they dont ship to USA. With their site You have to use a 3rd party purchaser and shipping company, and at that point its the same or more as buying from a Japan retailer. $90!! I hate life.

Yeah, because we have to buy through secondary retailers. I said the price was $55 through Bandai Collector’s Shop.

    Beautiful, simply beautiful. ☺

  5. I feel this figure being the first Padme is sorta a Japanese apology to people who like Star Wars, but also really like hentai porn. Because come on, we all know what’s up with this monster attack sexy girl.

I wish they were releasing literally any other Padme, because I kinda can’t do Attack of the Clones, and this scene was not good (unless you were looking for Obi Wan to be claymation, and ride a bronco like Buffalo Bill Cody). Otherwise, I do appreciate the Padme character for the most part, and while I won’t be doing any AOTC scenes, you gotta have Luke’s mom.

Everything from the neck down is gorgeous. That face sculpt is…it’s not good.

Argh, another pre-order to be paid straight away! I’m trying to save a little bit of money here…

So far the only likeness that has let me down is their Ep II Obi Wan. (And their Old Ben is looking kinda wonky.) I think this Padme will look as good as we’ve come to expect. I can see her likeness in the photos, and I usually find that they end up looking better in person.

She turned out better than some of the other upcoming releases I’ve become aware of through this place.

  10. Needs a Nexu to go with it.

  11. Doesn’t look like Natalie Portman to me.
