Okay, you knew that official promotional pictures for the MAFEX Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Darth Vader would show up as soon as I posted the teaser. It’s my lot in life.
But it does drive home the fact that I need this. Sure, it’s MAFEX. It’s likely to have QC issues. And I talk a big game about dropping the line (except when it comes to that amazing ESB Boba Fett) but this is Vader, man! An awesome looking Vader!
The may be slightly more reuse than I originally thought, but it’s really hard to tell. Like how the shoulder/chest piece sits, or the arms and legs. The ab piece with the chest box looks more similar than I imagined but there are slight differences. But most of all it was the head on the first release that throws me off the most and it seems to have been addressed with the new version. Better proportioned and nicer sculpt.
Like I said earlier, this is due August 2017 and will cost you about $50.
