The Four Horsemen booth is always my first stop at SDCC. They never disappoint and this year is no different. Check out pics of Mythic Legion 2.0 prototpes after the jump!
The big news was, of course Mythic Legions 2.0. They had the figures they showed at Toy Fair including the Warthog, the Ghost, The Gladiator and the Cat Warrior.
These are looking fantastic and incorporate pieces from Mythic Legions 1.0 with some additional sculpted bits. The new body type was introduced with elves and female warriors sharing parts. My favorite are the Vampire Queen and Vampire warrior (these are my nicknames).
These lovely ladies are sporting the colors and appear to be Vampires like my favorite ML 1.0 character Carpathius and I cant wait to build up his vampire army. The one I think of the Queen could be Illithyia from Carpathius’ bio.
The other two female warriors look to be human. I love the ornate armor details on the chest plates and the massive feathers on the helm of the gold female. She looks kind of regal to me as well. I also really like that silver warrior can easily hold the sword in two hands.
The Elves look to share legs and arms with the female warriors with different Elvish looking chest armors. It works really well, giving the gals a powerful look and the Elven males a really slim look. I should note that these are works in progress and subject to change. I think the only thing I would suggest to change would be to sculpt new weapons instead of re-using the series 1 weapons.
Also on hand were test shots of the trolls and they are looking great:
They also had plenty of 1.75 on hand. These figures are available for pre-order now along with the trolls.
