It’s just turning out to be a Dawn of Justice Armored Batman kind of day…
Medicom has announced two new accessories for the MAFEX Armored Batman from Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, but they won’t be coming with that figure. The add-ons actually come with MAFEX Knightmare Batman.
The two new accessories are the kryptonite spear and a damaged helmet head.
I’m not quite sure why the accessories are being added to the Knightmare Batman, who already has quite a few accessories himself. Maybe the Armored Batman is already taking up too much package? Maybe the extras were included later and Armored Bats, coming in September, is already too far along to have changes made? Add them to Knightmare, who drops in December, and call it all good.
This isn’t new though, like Bandai putting unmasked Vader with Jedi Luke. I know, I know, different company but I’m just pointing out that we’ve seen this practice before.
