Oh, Casey Jones, I need you for my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shelves. Any of them. This scale doesn’t help me out in that regard, but it may still make the buy list.
DreamEX has revealed a fully licensed Casey Jones for their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line that they teased a while back. Here’s that little taste in case you missed it.
Yup, 1:6 scale. Which is cool, I have nothing against the awesomeness that comes out in the 12-inch realm. Except for affordability and space. If I were a rich man, I would have a castle with each wing dedicated to different toy lines and scale, and the Hot Toys w/compatible lines room would be a magical place.
But I’m not a rich man. Or even a well-to-do man. I am your average joe toy collector that happens to love 1:12 scale. But you know what? I can still enjoy looking at pics of fantastic figures, whether or not they are coming home with me. Depending on whether or not the wife finds out I spent money on more toys . . .
If nothing else, I can tempt your eyeballs with this Casey, who is loaded for street war with all kinds of sports equipment.
Just look at the hockey mask. The whole head, even. My favorite may be the long hair look for Jones, but this is tempting. Really tempting.
What is more great, besides how badass this looks, is how nearly every point of articulation is covered, even with bare arms. Sure, there’s the disk for the shoulder, but even that is hard to see.
