We knew the Captain America: Civil War Black Panther was coming next in the S.H. Figuarts line. We even had a pic or two. But seeing actual promo pics? Oh man, I’m going to need this badly.
The only thing that throws me is that the fingers don’t have claws. Worse, I don’t even know if he’s supposed to have claws because I avoid spoilers like mad. I know the Marvel Legends Panther has them, so I can only assume.
The body just looks powerful. I have seen the Hot Toys Black Panther and didn’t like the smooth look of it. But here, maybe because of the body shaping, maybe because of the articulation, the costume and overall build just works. It also looks like he comes with two sets of hands, open and fists.
And to top it all off, this is a Tamashii Web exclusive. It looks like pre-orders open April 28th for a November shipping date. And again, the price steadily climbs to 6480 yen, or right at $60.
This hobby is getting expensive….
