Having the opportunity to go to Toy Fair every year is certainly a highlight for me, but even in going to the show, there are definitely some things that I look forward to more than others. One of those is what has become a great annual tradition: getting to sit down and chat with our pals the Four Horsemen.
This year was not any different, and in the midst of their epically adorned booth that highlighted the soon-to-be-shipping Mythic Legions, I got to sit down with the always entertaining, passionate, humble, and kind Eric Treadaway to chat about all of the work the studio has been doing since our last encounter at SDCC. Recorded right on the floor of Toy Fair (mind the background noise), we chatted for a full hour about the aforementioned Mythic Legions, ThunderCats, Masters of the Universe, and their work on the Mattel DC lines.
So, I encourage you to take a listen if you have an hour to spare because Eric provides some fantastic insight into all of those properties, and his love for all of them is instantly apparent. Please keep in mind that, due to the timing of the Mattel collector line event, we had to chat prior to the reveal of things like the Roton, but there is still a lot to glean from what we were able to discuss. So, have a listen, because you will learn a lot and I promise, listening to Eric discuss these lines will make you love and respect the Four Horsemen even more.
