I’ll be honest. I never played Injustice, the video game. I have read some of the books and I do like them, but I’m not usually that big on alternate realities where all my favorite characters either act like dicks or end up suffering some huge um . . . er . . . injustices.
So originally I had zero intentions of owning any figures from the series. Some of the designs looked okay but they weren’t a big want. Then I kept seeing picture after picture of Harley, the third figure from the Bandai S.H. Figuarts DC Injustice line, and they all kept looking more and more amazing. So I went ahead, bit the bullet, and ordered one. I figured I could always sell her off if I didn’t like her, but those damn pictures made her look like so much fun.
Well to say I was pleased would be an understatement. I absolutely fell in love with this figure the minute I opened it. Such a great sculpt. Such perfect accessories. Such great articulation. Just such a fun figure. Which is why I chose Injustice Harley as my personal favorite figure of the year.
Right out of the box I found her to be super toyetic and instant hand candy. She can get into some great acrobatic Harley poses pretty easily. She basically just a blast to play and pose with other figures. Plus, all the accessories are fun to interchange in and out, especially the different faces she comes with.
Now while it isn’t my preferred look for her, she does scale pretty well to my other DC 6-inch figures and looks plenty cool enough to keep a presence on the shelf. That is, if you can ever stop playing with her and finally put her up there. She may not be the perfect representation of the Harley I know, but she damn sure is the most fun, and, in my opinion, the best figure made of her yet. If you’re a Bat family collector, I would highly recommend adding her to the collection. You won’t be disappointed.
