Bandai has been having a heyday today revealing their new Star Wars: The Force Awakens model kits and S.H. Figuarts action figures. Let’s take a look a the First Order Stormtrooper model and the BB-8 teaser, and catch up on Figuarts in a bit.
The First Order Stormtrooper comes with three sets of hands, which is standard for the model Troopers. Two fists, two relaxed, and two trigger fingers. It also comes with a blaster with removable stock, a tonfa of some kind, and a shield. Finally, the usual black base with a foot mold.
The Stormtrooper is due out in November and looks to be under $20. Mmm, I love this line.
Also teased is BB-8. It comes with a re-issue of R2-D2, so that’s good for those who missed him the first time around with R5-D4. That’s also good for those of us who like or plan to paint up R2 into other versions. We can always use another.
BB-8 is due out in December and is priced the same as the Stormtrooper.
