Hasbro’s Preview Night booth didn’t have a lot of new stuff, but what was there was very nice. Check out some more pics of Hasbro’s Marvel Legends and Marvel 500 figures.
The big news here was the release of a couple more exclusive Legends figures. They both look good and I will definitely be grabbing DD when he comes out. The nice thing about the swappable head is you can use it on your regular DD from the Spider-Man Legends.
Another fun item was the Marvel 500 line of bagged mini-figures. They have minimal paint, but the sculpts look fun and I cannot fault the character roster. Spot!
The usual MU diorama display was replaced this year with an Ultron themed Legends display, but the smaller scale figures still had a presence in a couple of cases worth of cool looking figures. Some looked new to me, but I have to be honest and confess I don’t follow the line closely. Yondu and Ulik looked especially cool.
Also out were the upcoming waves of Legends we have already seen including the SDCC exclusive box set. I have to say, the posing in these displays has much improved over past years. They actually got really cool poses out of most every figure and sold me on a bunch of stuff I wasn’t thinking of buying based on press photos.
Oh Misty…
