Hot on the heels of the initial announcement, Hasbro sent along big pics and more info for both the Ant-Man multi-pack and the individual little Ant-Man in a match box!
The multi-pack is just friggin’ cool. It can be used in either a Marvel Legends or Universe display. I mean, we’ve seen Pym shrink both himself and his lab equipment in order to do his work, so you could slip the MU scaled labcoat Hank into your 1:12 display. He has a axtra Ant-Man helmeted head, but it looks like you have to leave the labcoat on because there aren’t any arms to switch the white sleeves out with. The modern Giant-Man is on the Icons body. Not great but a big Giant-Man on the shelf is a big Giant-Man on the shelf. Goliath is on the Bucky body, a nice companion to the newly released modern Giant-Man. Then there are two tiny Ant-Man non-articulated figures. One is slightly larger in a newer costume and the other is good ol’ classic Ant-Man.

The individual movie Ant-Man in a match box is interesting, a cool little display piece for $10. This is pretty much the same figure that comes with the ML movie figure, as I just looked at that earlier and they are just too similar. This is one of those things that may end up nicer left in the package. I did the same with the MU Deadpool Corps set from a few years ago. Package was just too awesome to toss, and everyone knows how I feel about packaging.
