It’s been a Marvel Legends kind of week so let’s look at some Marvel Legends customs. A little G.I. Joe. And an update to some Saturday Morning nostalgia.
There’s been a lot of debate about whether or not the new Spider-Man Legends Infinite wave is a little boring, being only Spidey variants and cast. No classic villains! So here’s a pretty nice Jackal to ease the pain.
And another. Yes, another Jackal. A bit smoother using a DCUC base but another Jackal nonetheless. That has to be some kind of sign, right?
It’s no secret that I love some Kitty Pryde. Again using a DCUC body that works better for Kitty than a lot of bigger, buffer DC females, this custom would look great on any X-Men shelf.
Back to the Spidey villains, here’s the classic Beetle that we should have gotten before the last two.
Okay, not so classic here. I dig the update to this Green Goblin. He’s…scary. Nice paint job too.
There’s also been a lot of Spider-Man Noir talk on the forums. If you’re going to make your own, save yourself some trouble and just order a cast.
I don’t know a lot about the Marvel Ultimate universe, but I’ve seen pictures. What drew me to this Ultimate Juggernaut is how clean it is. Look at the uniformity of the studs and how smooth the harnesses are!
This Cable is ugly, large, and in charge. Love it.
The energy effects with this Havok are a little rough but man, do I love the body choices. A little detail in the boots, the head fits Alex perfectly, and the glossy black just makes him pop.
Now for some G.I. Joe. 6 inches of military fantasy goodness. I would buy Hasbro figures in an instant.
This custom Cobra Commander is in my preferred hooded look so I can’t help but want it. The Cobra logos are nice and clean too, always a plus.
Baroness is looking kind of hot in 6 inch plastic form.
And you can’t have a Joe line without Snake Eyes. Several different versions. I don’t like the sword choice here but the rest is gold.
And then there’s these 6 inch, super articulated Count Chocula, Frankenberry, Fruity Yummy Mummy, Fruit Brute, and Booberry! When I ran across this I was a kid again, with my TV tray and watching Muppet Babies and Turbo Teen. These are awesome!
