figma is treating us to an interesting 2 pack and one that I might just bite on. It’s a 2 pack from Detective Conan featuring a figFIX and regular figma action figure. figFix is a series of non poseable figures that is in scale with their poseable figma figures. It’s an interesting mix and even more interesting choice to make Conan, the hero of the series, a non-poseable figure. I can see why the decision was made as he might have needed some challenging engineering to make him poseable.
The figma part of the set is Criminal, who is the stand-in for the actual bad guys in the series. It’s a great blank figure and I can seriously see myself wanting to order a few of these for custom fodder. Yeah, expensive and silly but something that I’m seriously contemplating.
