Bandai showed off it’s latest Kamen Rider action figure based off the new series drive. Type Speed is our main character and he’s driving around in a car. It’s not the first time a Kamen Rider’s been driving around in a car before in Black RX. The car was called Ridoron, and appeared back in 1987. Speed appeared this year and the car is called Tridoron as a homage to the earlier four wheeled vehicle. However, Kamen Rider isn’t sporting black duds, but red ones.
The verdict in our house is that Drive is a good rendition of Kamen Rider and worthy of discussion amongst that annals of Kamen Rider history. Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts is sharp looking and will be entering our tokusatsu collection.
