AmiAmi has a listing for the next figure in Kaiyodo’s TK Project line of action figure based on traditional Asian statues and mythos. It’s a beautiful line of action figures, and if weren’t for the Revoltech scale (unde6 inches) I’d be all over these. Ideally I’d love to see these in a seven inch scale, they’d make great display pieces.
TK Project KT-001 Takeya Style Jizai Okimono “Kirin” Iron Rust Look Edition is listed at AmiAmi and you can find the official Kaiyado Project page here. My interest in these Kirin is that they resemble the Ice Stallions from the Frigid Outskirts in Dark Souls 2 last DLC Crown of the Ivory King. The horse is listed at 17mm with will put it over six and half inches and that’s pretty tall. An average quarter horse is considered 60 inches tall making, measure from foot to the highest spot on the shoulder blades. Which would make this kirin either average for your collection, tall or small. I’m thinking for figma and S.H. Figuarts and Revoltech lines, this horse will be in perfect scale!
