So, if you noticed, we just launched the the very first ever Fwoosh WWE Legends Top Ten vote. If you didn’t know, that is okay too, but click on the link and do your part!
To help celebrate, and just by perfect timing, I was fortunate enough to get a set on WWE Legends series 5 figure in the mail today – yay! I have really fallen for this line and though there have been some rumblings about its uncertain future, I know Mattel can make this line a winner. They have everything going for them in terms of sculpt, articulation, stable, etcetera, they just need to get a handle on the Collector market. Hopefully we will hear some good things at SDCC in July.
Series 5 feature four superstars – The Macho Man, The Model, Akeem and Bam Bam Bigelow. From a character perspective, I am so thrilled to finally have a new Macho Man, and this is my Macho Man, as well as Akeem – I will own every Akeem figure ever made. Promise. However, I am really impressed by Rick Martel and Bam Bam, they are such fantastic action figures and their likenesses are scary good. I love it when I am surprised by a good series of figures.
The “Macho Man” Randy Savage

“The Model” Rick Martel

“The African Dream” Akeem
