Announcing: THE ACTORJEZ COLLECTION
On December 13th 2010, Actorjez Customs (the studio behind the popular, pulp-inspired Legends of the Lost Era action figure line), announced a groundbreaking development deal unprecedented in the history of licensed properties. The studio will collaborate with toy giants Mattel, Hasbro, and DC Direct to create “The Actorjez Collection”: full assortments of various action figure lines from each company, available only on The Fwoosh.
“Actorjez Customs has always been about subtlety, detail and an unapologetically joyful love of comic book history,” said John Jezior, CEO of AJ Customs. “With my longtime friends and partners at The Fwoosh, I look forward to translating the rich history of each company’s property through the same prism we’re known for.”
In keeping with the studio’s love of nostalgia, the first assortment of The Actorjez Collection will be a collaboration with master retro toy master George Saati…a reboot of the uber-popular, 1980s Super Powers line!
Developed to serve as both a bridge to 1990’s/2000s comic continuity, as well as a completion and “fill-in” of the original 80s characters, The Actorjez Collection: Super Powers Series 1 will be a limited edition viewable only on The Fwoosh.
Actorjez Customs is already developing Super Powers Series 2, which will be revealed during the 2011 CustomCon series…and will include a secret bonus mail-away premium!
