Well, are you keeping up with all of this new stuff? Wow, is November busy or what? We have one more trip to Eternia in this round of First Looks and as luck would have it, it is just in time for Fall Fashion week! Everyone’s favorite fashion/jacked barbarian runway expert, Gunn-dar is back to take you through all of the styles that will be the rage from Etenos Palace to Sub-ternia to the Whispering Woods. Take it away!
Greetings and salutations! It’s me, Gunn-dar the Master of the Runway, here to be your guide through Eternia’s Fall Fashion week as we feature the latest trends from the Great Wars! What is in and what is out this season? Well, let’s just see who really makes it work! Oh, and since Fearless Photog is currently unavailable, I brought my favorite little Trollan paparazzo, Orko, to capture all of the fabulous runway struts.
And good journey to you, King Randor! The high figure head of Eternia is showing that the vintage hotness has not worn off as he sports his brand new, classic Spear of Eternos. Scepters are certainly nice for royal matters of state, but when things get fierce around the Ultimate Battle Ground our majestic monarch will show that it is good to be the king!
Speaking of monarchs, Randor is not the only royal diva in the land of sculpted techno-barbarians! Everyone’s most feared Ocean Warlord, Mer-Man, is debuting his golden royal golden armor for the first time on the runway. This master of the Sea of Rakash certainly knows when to look his most regal and many a mer-lass and mer-lad will be swooning over their malevolent monarch this winter. When you are 20,000 leagues under the sea, even gold and yellow can be fashion savvy.
Uh, oh and who do we have here? It looks like the brutish Whiplash has been digging around in big brother’s kingly closet. Is that the ceremonial spear of Ceratus I see him sporting? Well yes it is! This golden spear with ebony accents shows that all that glitters is certainly gold in the hallowed halls of Sub-Ternia!
Now we have that evil impostor of He-Man, Faker, proving that accessories really make the man. Or Smurfantine robot in this case. Newly armed with his samhain-celebrating orange and black axe and shield, Faker shows that going from the royal junkyard to the runways of Snake Mountain only takes a little accentuating.
But hold on there, Faker, you will only ever be diva runner-up in Skeletor’s halls as Evil-Lyn is sporting new colors to old favorites with her combination wand and staff accompanied by a cute little incantation dagger. The bold purple and green shows that opining for your youth and days when you were not plagued by perpetual jaundice is fashion forward on the Dark Hemisphere.
And don’t tell Optikk that New Adventures was never in style! This ocular freak-around-town knows that when the lights go down in Denebria you won’t need an eye as big as your head to spot this hot black shield and blaster combo. Beware cornea-queens of the mistiest clubs of the north, when you lock eyes with this Optikk, he will never let you go!
If there has ever been a queen of accessorizing in this galaxy or the next, it is certainly Trap-Jaw! Everyone’s dental-themed denizen just proves that you can never have enough functionality when coping with phantom limb syndrome. Whatever trend Roboto can start, Kronis can make it work in stunning black and metallic blue. Be it axe, clamp or blaster, TJ is ready for any setting and he will need a Man Purse the size of the Slime Pit just to keep it all in tow.
Well, who says that high fashion is for the birds? WE do! That’s right, when the lovely Sorceress is tired of stamping around the musty halls of Grayskull and needs to spread her wings, she will be doing it as Zoar and doing it in style! This lovely green armor is just the thing to catch everyone’s eye in the sky! But a confident, independent bird does not need to only be seen in the stratosphere, with the accompanying perch she makes every Eternos gathering the place to be!
And for our grand finally, the one true Princess of Power, She-Ra, breaks the bonds of monochromatic melancholy with her two-toned silver Sword of Protection! A girl’s best friend is variety so now our former Horde Captain can dazzle her way to freedom in traditional gold or striking silver fashion!
Well, I am positively spent! Eternia is certainly going bold this fall season and every master who is any master will be clawing to be noticed amongst all of these hot new looks. Well, I know I will be sipping goosefruit juice over at the Laughing Swan on the 15th, you had better be at Matty Collector that day to ensure that you and your little muscle-y men are not out when it comes to fashion.
