PETER SNEJBJERG JOINS THE BOYS!!!

Issue #13 and #14 to have special guest artist!

Dynamite Entertainment today released images and information
announcing the December and January releases of The Boys #13 and The
Boys #14.The most talked about comic of the year continues from
writer/co-creator Garth Ennis and artist/co-creator Darick Robertson!
And joining them on the book for these two issues is special guest
artist Peter Snejbjerg! Peter’s credits include working on Garth Ennis’
Preacher: One Man’s War, as well as Midnighter, Starman (issues 50-80),
JSA and Books of Magic.

"As Garth put it in the script: ‘Unmistakable, obvious,
disturbing’. That just about says it all, doesn’t it? Seriously,
though, this not only gives me a chance to draw that strip club scene,
but a few other things I don’t expect to draw again in any other
American comic book. It’s also that Garth just writes the best dialogue
around, period. It’s fun to draw Garth Ennis books because it’s fun to
read Garth Ennis books. And it’s fun to get to play with the toys
designed by Darick because they are such cool toys!" – Peter Snejbjerg

"This is the fifth time that Peter’s guest-starred on one of my
books, and it really is about time the two of us created something from
the ground up. He’s one of the best storytellers in the business, with
a sense of character second to none- he certainly had no trouble
nailing The Boys. It’s a real treat to be working with him again." –
Garth Ennis

In The Boys #13, Little Nina’s backers are revealed, Butcher ruins
Monkey’s day, and the Boys find something nasty in the borscht. Can
Hughie finish the job alone? And is he ready for the secret of… Love
Sausage? And we don’t even want to hint at what happens in #14. Let’s
just say, it’s…. big!

Dynamite Entertainment is also proud to offer Garth Ennis and
Darick Robertson’s The Boys first trade paperback collection of issues
#1 through #6, plus bonus material, including an introduction from
writer, actor and producer Simon Pegg, the creator and star of Shaun of
the Dead, Spaced and Hot Fuzz! Don’t miss this dark, twisted look at
superpowers, super-people, and the men and women who make sure the
world’s "heroes" never go too far.

AQUAMAN CO-CREATOR PAUL NORRIS DIES AT AGE 93

Artist Paul Norris, best known as the co-creator of Aquaman, has died at age 93.

“Paul Norris was one of the quiet, dedicated artists who sustained
comics through the decades,” says Paul Levitz, DC Comics President
& Publisher. “His most important contribution to DC was long before
I was born, but it was my pleasure to reconnect him to DC and Aquaman.”

Born in 1914, Norris worked as a cartoonist for the Dayton Daily
News before beginning his career in comic books in 1940, when he
started freelancing for Prize Publications on features including Yank
and Doodle and Futureman. Norris moved to DC Comics in 1941, where he
introduced Aquaman in MORE FUN COMICS #73. After his stay on the
Aquaman feature ended, he moved on to other features including The
Sandman and Johnny Quick.

After serving in the Army, Norris joined King Features, where he
contributed to comic strips including Flash Gordon, Secret Agent X-9
and Jungle Jim. He took over writing and drawing the Brick Bradford
strip in 1952 and continued drawing it through 1987, establishing a
reputation for never missing a deadline. In the 1960s and 70s, Norris
also drew comics for Western Publishing including Tarzan of the Apes
and Magnus, Robot Fighter.
