Marvel Legends – Series 13
Abomination
Finally! After the debacle of the hard to find Hulk Classics Abomination Toy Biz has finally released a new Abomination that his easy to find. And we get two versions to boot! One normal looking one and one with a melted face. This is a great figure it’s huge, massive, well sculpted, and has a butt load of articulation. We’d all love to see an ab-crunch on there, but otherwise this a great figure of the Hulk villain Abomination. He and Rhino can do some damage now!

BlackHeart
This is a character that I know nothing about, and that says a lot from me, I tend to think that after hours and hours of studying the Official Handbook to the Marvel Universe that I know everyone. Clearly I do not. The figure however is beautiful and is one of my favorite Marvel Legends to date. The sculpt on this thing is amazing and the articulation is awesome. The only complaint that I might throw at it is the tail. I’m not completely crazy for the tail, it’s stiff and doesn’t pose well.

Lady Deathstrike
This is another collector demanded figure and it is great to see this Wolverine enemy make it to Marvel Legends. It’s a fantastic sculpt and the articulation is great to play with. Based on Barry Windsor-Smith’s comic design this is an excellent comic to toy translation. Kinda makes me want a Windsor-Smith Machine Man.

Green Goblin
Finally. The quintessential Green Goblin. Sure we had one in the Spider-Man Vs. Sinister 6 box set but that was just filler for this amazing figure. It’s perfect. It’s the Green Goblin. It is loaded with articulation. It is ready to kick Spidey’s ass. We even got the glider!

Loki
Speaking of demanded villains. You can’t have Thor without Loki. You can’t have the Avengers without Loki. Now we have Loki. Capturing the look of Esad Ribic’s art from the Loki mini series, this figure pops on your shelf. And off, the figure is plagued with rubbery legs and tend to shelf dive. But don’t let that sway you, a nice foot stand and Loki is on his way to being another excellent addition to your Marvel Legends collections.

Loki – Horned Variant
And you get a horned variant. Well both have horns, let’s call the one with the short horns and the classic Jack Kirby look the variant.

Pyro
Finally! Series 10 Mystique has another member of the Brotherhood of Evil to go palling around with! This is another character that’s huge on the collecting wish list and he makes his debut here, in Marvel Legends, finally! This is an all new sculpt and has plenty of articulation. But his over proportions and size are a bit underwhelming. I would love to see this guy on the Bullseye buck. Another stellar head sculpt from Phil Ramirez.

Onslaught
The Build A Figure for this wave is the much requested Onslaught. From the popular story arc featuring a Professor Xavier gone loco, this character was huge and super powerful. Except, for most of the story arc, he did not look like this figure, this is kind of the end look, and I think was like in one comic. Collector fury crashes the internet again. That aside, this is an amazing figure, it is beautifully sculpted, incredibly painted and is tricked out with articulation. While not my preferred choice of looks, I love this toy!
