It looks like Bandai is moving right along with their 1:12 scale Figure-rise Dragon Ball model kits, releasing promotional pics of the Saiyan Space Pod.
Goku and Frieza are on their way to my grubby little hands as I type, and Gohan and Cell have been solicited, so it’s nice to know that the shelf will keep expanding. I’m not the biggest Dragon Ball fan but I love 1:12 scale figure model kits and now that they are soliciting vehicles? I’m supporting it. Plus they just look cool.
Unfortunately Vegeta is an unarticulated figure, but it looks like there is room in there for a fully articulated model to fit. When this was shown at earlier cons it looked as if the Vegeta figure had knee joints, maybe ankles. So there is hope, although no action figure can do that cross-arm pose.
The Saiyan Space Pod will cost around $37 and release in October.
