Got Atreus today. Neck articulation is great, has a really nice range. Marvel Legends could do some learning here.

Unfortunately his arrow immediately snapped in half so be VERY careful removing it from the packaging. It is not a flexible plastic when it definitely should have been. Or at least come with multiples.

Thanks for the heads up! Mine is coming tomorrow. After that it’s just Jin. Amazon wants me to approve the delay, but I keep getting an error page. Hopefully he starts shipping before the end of the month.

i think not having enough accessories is a fault of this line though. Varl literally has a machete sculpted in his sheath, as well as several arrows. And we all know about Kratos too.

@asm yeah I'd say for the price we definitely need more accessories. Sculpt, paint, and articulation are all well done, just lacking in extras.

Those amazon delay approvals are weird. They don't really work on mobile. You'd think they'd have a streamlined system where you just hit one button.

Hot take, but I don't think Amazon does anything particularly well. They sell everything so it's very convenient to shop there. I think that accounts for like 80% of their success. Their website is janky, the UI is outdated, and predatory third-party sellers operate with impunity.

I only shop there for exclusives or if I have a gift card that needs spending.

I feel like Kratos didn't get the mega-accessory treatment that Aloy did is because Spinmaster doesn't necessarily feel like Aloy can carry multiple releases, but CAN carry one deluxe release, whereas they feel like Kratos can support multiple releases. I could definitely be wrong here. But I expect to see several different versions of Kratos with different accessory load-outs to get collectors to keep coming back to the well (haha, the well... of Mimir... right?).

I sense most of the characters wouldn't show up in the Deluxe line too many times?  Probably a one-off for most of them; at least for awhile.  

Aloy has some fantastic costumes, and is their banner female character so I can definitely see her showing up again - at least in the core line. 

My Kratos arrived today. I love the figure. A little shorter scale than Legends - but a fantastic figure. I can't wait to get the Last of Us set, and see what they do with Nathan Drake. Hopefully they are able to conceal the articulation a bit more like they did with Kratos - they have some learning to do after Joel and Ellie...

Jin came in from Amazon. I feel like he is the weakest of the wave with only one out of three swords being removable.

Finally got my Kratos, and man I'm loving him. He's really fun to pose around, and honestly, I even like his size, he's perfect for a pocket figure. The axe is way too small though. I'm looking around for some GoW weapon keychains, I've seen pictures on instagram of people using some very small ones for the figure and they look great.

Do you guys think we'll see some new figures at NYCC?

Personally I would love to see some more God of War figures. A deluxe Kratos, Thor, Freya, younger Kratos too. We also need Nathan Drake, and I'm sure everyone would love some Demon Souls and Bloodborne figures! I would also like Gravity Rush's Kat. So there's plenty of characters Spin Master could do, but will they? 

Don't expect it, but I would love to see what some Ratchet and Clank figures in this line could look like.

If that's the case, Nate's the only one I'm interested in.

Pretty solid wave, if true, but going with Joel from TLOU2 over another Ellie or Abby first is an odd choice. Or heck, a basic Clicker. But hey, I hope they'll do all the characters eventually, so I ain't complaining.

Nate's an obvious pickup, and I would actually be excited for Second Son. Played the first Infamous, then stopped playing the series for whatever reason, but started again with Second Son, and I know fans of the series didn't seem to enjoy it as much, but I had a blast. If nothing else, could make for a fun, toyetic figure.

Would like to see how they handle the more exaggerated animated figures, though. Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Sly Cooper, etc. Maybe they're figuring it out too, and so saving them for later waves.

I hope the line lasts long enough to give us Ratchet, Sly, Jak, etc.

I can't say I think it will when they're relying on the likes of Erend and Deacon St. John to move units.
