Wonder if this means they’ll be doing figures as well.

See if this were Mortal Kombat Klassic, I'd be down.

It's been well over a year since I've picked up MK1 and played it, but I'll wait and see before judging.

I hope with Storm Collectibles' line being done, we'll get something.

McFarlane is doing MK?  Man I don’t know how I feel about that.

Yo this is for reals? They actually look quite good! Two females on a newly sculpted body right out of the bat, too. Ninjas look nice as well, and Liu Kang mostly reuses the MK11 fig.

Damn.

Mixed feelings on this one.

they do look good, but they’re gonna be 7” scale. 🙁

I’ll probably buy them. But it’s gonna itch…

I do look forward to what Todd does with the more horrific aspects of MK. Fatalities, beasts, et Al.

it would’ve been great if jada toys got this license in 6”scale, but at least Mezco didn’t get the license. 😮‍💨

I'm not a huge MK fan, but if I got any I'd probably get the Sub Zero and Scorpion.  However in order to be "classics" shouldn't they have the singular mouth-covering masks without the ports all over them?  Since I prefer those, I might as well look at the Storm MK figures, but at that point, I don't even know if they're still making MK figures, so why bother.

These look alright, the last McFarlane MK stuff didn't really stand out to me as something I needed to have.  I may defer to only the Marvel X-Men statues he does and the occasional Spawn figure I just think looks cool.  If he did a deluxe Haunt figure that was better than his singular offering of that figure I'd probably go for that.

Honestly, I think McFarlane should fall back on his ability to make movie figures.  Since he specializes in monsters and weird looking stuff I think he'd make decent Dick Tracy figures from the movie with all the bad guys and their various deformities.  Since Neca doesn't seem to plan to do a Dumb and Dumber line, I'd be open to getting those figures in their various costumes from McFarlane.

These look fantastic, I was upset Storm never did an updated “quilted pillowcase case” Sub-Zero on the newer Scorpion buck (I associate Sub-Zero with the MK1/2 style and Scorpion with the UMK3 style) so I need him and the two lady ninjas to go in my Storm display!

if we can get Jax and Sonya finally after that I’d be very happy.

If Storm gets the license back as well I hope they just stick em in the Arena line.

McFarlane doing Klassic Mortal Kombat AND comic TMNT!? I'm in.

The good news is half the figures I want seem to already be confirmed. Now here's hoping we AT LEAST get Jax, Raiden and Johnny Cage!

EDIT: So does this line confirm that the Raiden up on Amazon a while back WAS Klassic?

The masks with the breathing vents first showed up in MK2.

I hope these are better than the last ones he did because the last ones he did kind of blow.    I bought more of them than I should have and was disappointed in pretty much all of them.

The MK 11 Merciless Guardian armor Raiden I have is probably the best of them.    I really wanted to like the Kotal Khan but the feet were so tiny it ruined the whole figure.

Nightwolf was all right...  I end up giving away my White Fury Raiden and Kitana because I disliked them so much.

These look like they are based on the older games' designs so maybe I'll like them a bit more...

Appreciate the clarification.  I wish Sub Zero came with an alternate whited-out eyes head, as I'm not invested enough to buy a variant just for that.  I could probably paint the eyes if I care that much but don't feel like I should have to.  One thing that did catch my eye was Liu Kang's torso articulation, we're going back to the Batman #1000 or whatever the first Batman that Todd released with that wavey chest break again?  That was part of the reason I never bought that first Batman figure besides the weird eyes it had.

Disappointed McFarlane still has the license, especially with how mishandled the MK11 line was. I'm also not particularly interested in MK figures at this scale by this point. I have plenty already with Storm's releases. Only going in on another MK line if the scale shrinks.

Speaking of, hopefully this means WB has unfrozen the license and Storm can continue working with MK. Especially if it means we get some figures in their Storm Arena line.

Very excited for a Klassic Sub-Zero and Scorpion, and pleased to see they are starting with the MK2 looks. I can see myself grabbing many of these if they go deep into the rosters.
