Akuma looks appropriately massive! Now, Vega's arms just really need tightening, they're too puffed-up in mass. His upper body might be, too, hard to say from that picture.
Every time these get shown off, the more I'm huffing copium that Vega will get an accurate figure when his Alpha version comes around. How is a ~20 year old figure the only accurate one of him? An embarrassing blunder for a line that is otherwise about one-upping those old figures.
As usual, Jada if you're listening, his arms should be mirrored and only his claw hand has a glove. And that level of bulk is way too much.
I can't remember who posted that the Paulmart Player 2 Ryu was on Amazon, but I caved and picked one up. Very different color palette across the board from V1 and Evil Ryu, but man, every single time I pick up a figure from this line I fall in love with the series all over again, even if it's just a repaint. Cammy, Guile, and Dee Jay can't get here fast enough!

Got the Paulmart exclusive Ryu from Amazon. I swore off getting multiple colors of the same character, but the paint is messy on my first release Ryu, and the blue headband version was the color I played as a kid, so I picked it up.
I really like the figure, thanks for the heads up. Can’t wait for the next new character. It’s tricky figuring out which characters to jump on the first release of, and which to wait for alternate colors of.

Lowkey excited that Ryu is getting a rerelease as I might want to replace my original print copy. Is the hair any less rubbery on the later reissues? It annoyingly collects dust better than my swiffer.
I think wave 1, v1 are all pretty much non existent at normal retail and etail at this point. Amazon and EE has all v2 as I know a few local collectors getting into the line who have ordered from them and all have received v2. Even the ones showing up at my local Barnes and Nobles and FYE are all v2. But yeah, w1v2 Ryu showing up at Target is still a good thing for those who are joining late or want a “better” version of Ryu.
Also Deejay had an official listing on Target’s website. He’s out of stock but if you find link you can set notifications and/or add to your list. You may have to filter search for out of stock items or use google “Target Jada Toys Deejay”. I have not seen Cammy or Guile listing yet.

I opened up my V2 Ryu and Fei Long. V2 Ryu still has rubbery hair like V1 although my V1 never had an issue with unusual dust collecting. However my V2 Ryu has smoother joints than my V1. My V1 has really tight torso joint.
The fire effects for Fei Long are both sticky on mine. However the V1 fire effect seems to have a more orange color at one end while the V2 has a more reddish color in the same spot.
Watching the early reviews of Guile, Cammy, and Deejay and these figures just look so incredible. It's nothing new for Jada but still blowing almost every domestic toy out of the waters with how well they pose, particularly in the torso. Deejay was one of those figures I wasn't sure I needed as I like the original roster best, but he looks particularly good in action poses in the reviews I've seen. Something about those expression heads and posed hands just set him apart. Also the subtle paint job they do on skin really pops on him.
My Targets got some new Jada SF shipments in the past week but all the ones I saw were just wave 2 Bison, Dhalsim and normal Chun Li. The last time I saw this pack out in my area, red Chunners was shipping with wave 2 in all the cases. Didn’t see anymore red versions
