I ordered a Red Chun-Li off eBay because after months of visiting four Targets and finding jack shit I wanted to be done with it. And then I walked into my local Target and saw a lone Fei Long! So if distribution starts getting better now, you’re welcome!
I got my Violent Ken and Pink Chun-Li too, so now I’m all caught up on variants and just waiting for a Blue Guile…
P2 Blue Guile is a big want of mine as well. I just hope to god he doesn’t end up being a Walmart exclusive because of his blue color theme. I know Walmart USA is not carrying the line yet but I know Walmart Canada is. Hopefully he ends up east to get in the states.
Ugh, please don't make the Player 2 repaints hardER to get, or I'm out & only gonna focus on the regular releases. It was bad enough Chun-Li was a(n easy to get) Con exclusive, then Ken was EE (but still an easy order to place).
Anyone have a non-P2 colorway they'd really like? Mine would be the blue-skinned Blanka from the G.I. Joe line, if Jada's allowed to do it.
I still have mine from childhood, lol.
Who are the next two characters scheduled to be released for this line? Guile and Cammy? Any idea of when they're due?
Guile, Cammy, and Deejay. Plus their inevitable P2 exclusive colors. Some collectors are predicting Target getting these sometime in September with preorders at etailers following soon after.
Well I hope all 3 will show up at the same time, but based on what Jada said about their SF line in an earlier interview, these three might get staggered releases so who knows which of the 3 will show up first. Might get one or two first then the third weeks or months later. Been that way with wave 1 and 2 so far.
I haven't opened my FedEx app in awhile. There are nine different Jada tracking numbers for two figures. Looks like the actual shipped order is going to miss today's scheduled delivery.
Did they ever release Fei Long but without his kick "effect" being sticky? Mine's still sticky after months and I suppose it will always be that way. Or has Jada addressed this at all? Surely I'm not the only one who thinks it's really gross. Hopefully it's the first and last time.
Is your Fei Long V1 or V2?
I have V1 and V2. V1 was sticky on mine as well. I did not open V2 but visually, the flame effect does not have that shiny finish that V1 has. Its more dull and matte. I thought I saw a review on YouTube weeks back where the reviewer said his V2 flame effect was not sticky like his V1. Don’t quote me on that as I don’t remember which reviewer it was from.
As I’m typing this. Red Chun Li and Ken are showing up as available on the Target website. Not sure if it’s a regional thing, but check ‘em if you need em.
I think Target Chun-Li is a regional availability thing - she's never been on the site here for some reason. I did get the pink version though so I think I'm happy with two for now. I didn't preorder the EE Ken and he's pre-sold out, but I got Violent Ken so I'm working on a pretty good "two versions per character" pace. I could live with that.
In case anyone missed him, white Ken can be preordered at BBTS. He seems to have been knocked off the front page. I was going to pass, but figured I can have him thrown into the POL whenever he arrives. He is $3 more than EE or Nerdzoic.
For some reason, I thought SOTA Ken in white looked kind of cool and was one of my favorite alternate colors. My SOTA Ken's white was looking a little dingy before I sold.
I was under the impression that white Gi Ken was an EE exclusive like how blue Gi Ryu was a Paulmart exclusive. I guess he’s just a general online retailer exclusive then.
I want a blue Dhalsim and black uniformed Bison next.
Apparently Barnes and Nobles is carrying these figures. Both retail stores and online store. So far it only seems like Ryu and Chun Li are being offered. I wonder if these are V1 or V2. Seems like V1 are pretty much drying up most places.
I wonder when is GameStop and Walmart USA going to get on board or if at all. I know that bookstore carries toys and alot of anime merch but it still seems weird they would get onboard first before a major retailer and a game store that actually sells toys too.
