@hbhfback Very true. I wonder if they’ll release him as a deluxe?  Maybe they can also put in an extra gi with the sign on the back so the tops can just be swapped out?

Zangief is the one I’ve been waiting for, mainly to go along with Chun Li in a display for Wreck It Ralph. I enjoyed Street Fighter in general, and recognize all the characters, but I collect so many lines, I have to draw the line somewhere, even if the line is as good as what Jada is making.

I smell... The fresh air of freedom...

If they're putting out one figure a day, what does that mean for tomorrow?

That’s it!!  It’s official!  Jada has accomplished what no SF toy maker has done in this scale. Curse is broken!!  They can make whoever else they want from any SF game after at this point as far as I’m concerned.  They took the chance to make all the non Alist characters from the 017 and made it work. Every other SF toy maker kept doing Alist with just a few B list characters from different SF games and the line is either taking too long or just died out. Jada ended that curse for real.

Seems Akuma is Jada's last reveal of the show, but you know what?  They absolutely stole the god damn show. Every single figure reveal was a smash hit, even if I don't personally care for some. With this line-up, no other single company had a chance.

As far as I'm concerned, Jada won SDCC.

The only question now is when is the preorder for wave 3?  I heard Juhn mention wave 3 may be showing up at Target soon. How soon is “soon” I have no idea but it would be nice if etailers offer the preorders in August.

Weird question perhaps, but as someone who hasn't picked any of these up, is it odd that Ryu and Ken seem to have a nice texture on their gi but Akuma doesn't? Either way, I don't need a lot of Street Fighter on my shelf, but I might make some room for Akuma.

Wow. That Akuma looks great. I can't wait to get all of these Street Fighter figures!

So...Mortal Kombat now? Please?

@jakeekiss It could be because Akuma is still a prototype. All the wave 1 and 2 figures and all present and past exclusives shown in the display are probably final product figures. Although it is curious that Paulmart blue Ryu and Target red Chunners are not shown.
