I bought Bison and Dhalsim from Target last week. Great figures, even more impressive than wave 1. There were at least two sets on the shelves. Check out the collectors section next time you’re in Target.

Still haven’t seen Chun Li in person, but I might just wait for a player two version.

While not that important to most collectors, I noticed a running change to the back of the box art for Chun Li at least. Jada seems to have started using only solo pics of the character rather than showing the entire wave. I know wave 2 figures were doing this like Ken, but did not know wave 1 was doing it as well. Must be the later runs of Chunners. So now she is pictured alone and without Ryu or Fei by her side

Oh man. Really had the rug pulled out from under me today. 

The Target I’ve been staking out for the past week or so for Dhalsim and Bison once again didn’t have anything today and I won’t be able to check tomorrow or Thursday, so I naturally just assumed they’d get stocked then. 

So today I finally pulled up the DPCI and asked someone to check and they showed three in the back! They went to go grab it and I’m so excited thinking I’ve finally struck gold… but then they come out with the case and it’s just more Ken and Fei Long… 

They were very understanding when I said I was just looking for a new wave and thanked them profusely for their time. 

I guess the Target stock employees only scan the DPCI on the main shipping box to let the store system know they have Jada SF but not know which characters are received. I’m thinking they have to scan each individual UPC of each character to actually be able to look up each individual DPCI. Just guessing. I really don’t know how all that works.

Are you guys going to keep collecting this line once they finish the SF2 roster?  For me, that was the definitive Street Fighter game, that's the only one all of my nostalgia is tied to.  I don't need to keep buying figures just to buy figures.  Once I get the 17 SF2 characters, I'll be done with this line. 

My favorite character wasn’t even introduced until Super Street Fighter IV, so yeah.

After the SF2 roster I'm definitely NOT collecting everything.

I want ANY and ALL Final Fight Characters, Period.

I definitely want Rose and most of Alpha.

I REALLY don't really care much about 3 or many newcomers onwards, It'd be a case by case basis. Besides Cammy's Shadaloo outfit I have ZERO interest in alternate costumes (except in the case of Classic Final Fight outfits).

My Top Ten after SF2 are...

A special edition Final Fight set with Haggar, Jessica, and Belger would be an absolute dream come true.

As far as SF3 goes, I don't care about most of them but Dudley, Makoto and Sean would be cool additions.

Anything after the original 17 SF2 characters I will support, but only if Jada completes the 17. It does look promising they will attain that feat that no other toy company who had the SF license has done in action figure format at this scale. But the sooner they finish the 17 the happier I’ll be.

Still waiting on news when we can preorder Fei and Chunners variants plus VKen.  

@slixta our top 5 are generally the same, but I'd go SFA3 Cody instead and then classic designs for all the final fight gang

Otherwise, I want an Alpha Vega (skinnier, blonde, art accurate arms), A.K.I., Karin, and maybe Geki or something.

My current display, as someone in the Classified thread mentioned how they wanted Hasbro to make SF figures, since they did in the original G.I. Joe line back in the early '90s:

I'm considering integrating them into the Joes even further, by separating the "group" and going with my current Joes categorization (so, like, Blanka would go below with the Dreadnoks & swamp dudes; Guile would go with Hawk & Duke etc., Dhalsim would go with Dusty & Spirit & the Indiana Jones heroes who all share the same shelf).

I love this line so much (though, am I wrong in wishing Vega ["M. Bison"] should be larger? like taller, not necessarily proportionally bulkier?), and I definitely echo sentiments that Jada obtain the legal ability to do classic Mortal Kombat (I'd be good with the first three games), though to jump on "other Capcom fighting games":

HOLY SH**, DO I NEED JADA TO DO DARKSTALKERS, PLEASE GOD. Not only are Storm too big & expensive, but we only have one character so far, with only a prototype of the second shown years ago they've probably lost the license by now. $25 Darkstalkers action figures in this sculpt & paint style with this plastic & build quality!? *JIMP*

I'll also happily take the entire roster from Fatal Fury 2, playable & bosses, please.

Also, any Marvel vs. Capcom Capcom characters, please. Especially Resident Evil, haha (though I would still really love if Hasbro were able to get that license & let the Classified team handle it).

If this line had come several years ago, I would’ve been in for a lot more, namely Alpha characters who showed up in Marvel vs Capcom, but as things stand now, I’m fine with just the SF2 cast. It’s the game I have the most nostalgia for, which is what my collection has started heavily leaning towards. 

HOWEVER, I hadn’t taken into account Final Fight. That’s a whole different game, so I’d absolutely justify buying them to have some different representation on the shelf. 

Do we know when pink Chun Li is releasing or if it is exclusive anywhere?

@catromaji I believe the leaks said pink Chun-Li, P2 Fei Long and Violent Ken are gonna be exclusive to Jada's Next Level online store. There was also a listing for a red Chun-Li that may be going to retail.

Found M. Bison in Target today near Roscoe Village in Chicago and just had to pick him up.

He's amazing in person. Same store had 2 Dhalsims and previously had a Ken and multiple Fei Longs, but those were all gone except for Bison and 'Sim. Still never seen Chun-Li at a Target.

I'll admit I didn't play SF for years after SF2 so my character knowledge is pretty limited, but I love what Jada has done so far so much I will definitely buy figures I'm not super familiar with if they look cool just based on the quality of what we've seen so far. Just cracked open Ken and aside from a slightly loose peg for his right hand, he's just fantastic. 

Is there a place to follow upcoming releases? I'm dying for news about Cammy, Blanka, Guile, anyone else they announce (and I want to track when the exclusives might go live--I picked up evil Ryu and love that figure). 

I didn't see the discussion over in the Classified page about wanting Hasbro to do Street Fighter, but straight up, these two lines scale so nicely together I hope they just both keep doing what they're doing. This is all I want from 1/12 scale - let 'em look nice on the shelf together or in pics! The Jada figures are maybe a quarter inch shorter than a perfect 1:1 scale for me with the Joes or with Legends, close enough to make me super happy. 

Haven't started hunting for the two latest figures at Target cos I've got them preordered with BBTS. I can wait for Dalsim and M. Bison for a bit longer, that's okay. Some of the announced figures, though, I'll be climbing the WALLS looking for.
