Heard rumors Bison and Dhalsim were spotted at Cali Targets already. Might have to check a couple of stores now.

Saw a post on Twitter from MattK that he found them in San Diego this morning - so yep.   Have an appointment this afternoon, so will pop into a Target or two to see if I can't find them myself.

323-08-6622 DPCI

For those wondering, from my experience with the individual DPCI for each character you may give to a Target associate, it will always reference back to this master DPCI. So if you give Ken’s DPCI to the associate to input in their scanner and it shows a stock of 3, it could also possible mean the stock is 2 Chunners and 1 Fei Long. Keep that in mind in your search as to not get your hopes too high up. Good luck on the search everyone.

I’ve been happy with the likes of Ryu, Ken, and Chun Li, but I’m real excited for Bison and Dhalsim, especially after seeing these early reviews. I’ve always liked the weird characters the most and they both look great.

I went ahead ordered P2 Ryu to do the parts swap that everyone else is doing to get a non-orange Ryu. Hopefully my novice painting skill can handle the bandana alright.

Hit two different Targets in my northern California area and no sign of the new Jada SF figures.... no sign of any Street Fighter figures at all, so...   I'll keep trying.    I have Dhalsim on pre-order at BBTS, but if I could get my hands on them now I might be tempted to grab Bison as well.

BBTS sent preorder processing soon for Ken.  It feels like it takes forever for BBTS to get stock and about the same for me to find them in Connecticut.  I think Ken started hitting Cali before the begining of the year and now the new figures are showing up.  I have to keep preordering because I'm only 2 out of 4 at finding them before BBTS or EE ships.  I've had Ken from Target for at least 3 weeks.

Nothing special that we haven’t all already seen, but I’m real happy with him! That painting wasn’t as bad as I feared and it was easy to touch up some black anywhere I went too far with the red. (And it’s not like the blue was expertly applied in the first place)

Its not accurate to anything, but I do kind of dig red and gray Ohio State fan Ryu.

Although he doesn’t seem to be shipping until April, Ken seems to be up for order on Amazon proper for $24.99. Might have to pick from list of sellers to find the right vendor. Don’t see Bison or Dhalsim up yet.

MCUCollector24 posted reviews of Dhalsim and Bison.  He said he found both at a California Target near him.  I have no idea where he lives in Cali.

Has anyone seen Chun Li at a store?

Once back in the nineties I saw her in central London buying bread, milk and biscuits (The fancy kind). I guess there is money to be made in this street fighting lark.

What’s the consensus on the next game in the series that we’d want figures from? Alpha? Third Strike? Modern (4-6)?

Also, does anyone think it would be a good idea for releases to include alternate heads that either have the beat-up portraits from the continue screens, or at least have faces that look like they are taking damage?

Personally, I would like Alpha next. And then start doing mixed releases for all SF games afterwards. I would like to have 4 figure waves with the one extra slot relegated to different game versions   of Ryu, Ken, Chun Li, Cammy, Guile, and Akuma. Not repaints as that is a separate category. Keeps the Alisters headlining the waves to help boost sales to newbies. If damaged heads becomes available, I have a feeling Jada will stick those in the character repaints to make you double dip.

Now some iterations of the same character between different SF games are too similar. Like our current USF2 Jada Ryu would look too similar to an SF3 Default Ryu. If possible, Jada should release a different all new sculpt altogether. And new accessories. At the very least a new headsculpt to differentiate from a previous release. I for one really like SF6 Ryu and Chunners default look and hope Jada can get to those next year.
