Someone already found Ken at Target, so he's trickling out in initial small quantities to retail stores as Juhn mentioned.

UPC: 801310342183

Item Number (DPCI): 323-08-6622

@mrboshek Like comic shops that get their own custom covers on issues too.  You want to buy X-amount of issues they'll throw a existing image on it with your shops name.

The Paulmart Ryu must have missed the pickup or departure scan in Cali.  This morning it was scanned at a USPS distro center in Mass., usually one step before reaching my local PO.

Got P2 Blue Ryu. Not much to say about this guy that hasn’t already been said with the normal Ryu. A great and solid figure. His skin tone is definitely lighter. However the skin tone paint on his normal head seems a tad darker than his body skin tone on mine. His angry head skin tone looks to be closer to his body color. I think here is some mild darker shading on his face that seems to make it look darker but there’s less shading on my angry face so it looks lighter. Also that art on the back only had P2 Ryu pictured and Chun li and Fei long are not shown. The character select pictures/avatars are still the same in the back.

Couldn't get the ankle to pivot out of the box so I ran them under the hairdryer and they worked fine.  I'd recommend that trick if you can't get the rockers to work rather than force the joint.  Other than that I had no issues with him.  I really have no use for future color palette variations but I could probably be persuaded to buy a teal gi Turbo/Hyper Fighting Ryu now.  So much nostalgia from playing these games at my local bowling alley and at home of the Genesis when I was in HS decades ago.

My standard Ryu has some crappy wear and tear on his belt cuz the paint is already chipping.

Why they chose to cast his belt in white is beyond me.

Yeah that's an issue on mine, too.  If the Ken belt is casted in black, I'm gonna get two Kens and give one belt to Ryu.

Almost tempted to ask them for a replacement black belt, mine's chipping too and I barely touched it.  If they're casting more in black, it's not that ridiculous of an ask.  I agree, it's a really odd choice to cast it in white.

I emailed them for a replacement and they sent me a Ryu with no head or hands in a bubble mailer. I just needed the belt but I'm not complaining!

I just used a black marker to touch up the flaking areas on the belt. Not the best solution but whatever. Also my crappy AliExpress Ryu has a spare belt I could use but the body for Alie Ryu is thinner and therefore the belt is a tighter fit on Jada Ryu. Takes a little more effort to attach the belt but it can be done.

Dang.  The material caused me some initial concern but I wasn't aware the belt was painted.  Nothing chipping on either of mine (yet!) luckily but I'm glad to know so I can be sure to handle them carefully.  I think the overlay material will be the weakest aspect of these figures over time.  I imagine 3rd party replacement cloth gis, belts and loin coverings for Chun Li will start popping up eventually.
