Despite wave 1 being the only one widely available, it’s good to see that we are getting closer and closer to completing the O17 of Street Fighter 2 plus evil versions and so far blue Ryu. T

Ordered wave 1 from Amazon and just got Chun Li and Ryu today.  Fei Long will be here tomorrow hopefully.  These are my first Jada figures but I have to say I'm very impressed.  Joints seem to be appropriately tight without being too loose.  Don't have to heat the pinless joints to get them moving like I do with most Mattel and Hasbro product.  Seems to strike a good balance between product for price for a licensed line.  Sometimes you'll pay the same cost for a Black Series character that may not even come with an accessory.  I know there is a huge difference in licensing cost between Capcom and Disney but I'll have no problem dropping close to $30 for one of these.  My only concern is the flimsy rubber overlays.  I hope they don't disintegrate, melt to the figure or harden and crack over time. 

I was reluctant to start a new line (I sold off my NECA SFIV figures years back) but seeing how close they are to the whole roster convinced me to go all in.  SF2 and it's variants (CE being my favorite, and Ryu being my guy so it's hard to resist getting that Paulstore Ryu) are definitively on my top 5 favorite games list.  If the figures hold up in the long term I'd say Jada has a great little figure line on their hands.

Surprising to see those on clearance.  I saw Ryu and Fei Long exactly one time each on Target shelves and that was back in June.  My Targets haven't carried them since.

I never knew retail carried these.  I heard Jada was pushing for it but that was going to be a 2024 thing.  Nothing at any store around me.  Same with the Universal Monsters line.  Pre-ordered Ken from BBTS so I guess I on board now.

Went to target to see if i see Chun Li and to buy some cargo shorts. didnt find her. thank God i have one coming already.

I only saw Ryu at Target once, and they were regular priced.  Haven't seen any others yet, though I haven't been checking every week, more like once a month.  On the Ryus, there was really bad QC with the paint from the hair having smeared on to the face.  So I'm glad I saw those in person and was able to pick one with good paint.  The rest I have pre-ordered at BBTS, so hoping the QC's decent. 

I don't want to jinx myself but the set I got from Amazon had very clean paint on them.  I think this is my line of the year.  These figures are pretty dang impressive.  Paint was clean, articulation dialed in just right, not too tight or loose, plastic feels nice, plenty of accessories including alternative hands and heads.  Even though I won't display them pulling off special moves it's cool to see they included the parts for it.

Holy crap, these are quality figures. she does NOT feel cheap at all. heck, it feels like a figma figure. super articulated also. great job Jada. she measures 5 3/4" inches. you can take off the bracelets. Cant wait for Vega, T.hawk and Dhal. shes thicc too if you know what i mean.

Just watched the latest ToyMigos interview and Juhn showed off a lot of stuff.

He confirmed Vega does have an alternate head for the masked look and also comes with a cool claw swipe effect.

Blanka looks so good and he's huge! He comes with big electrical effect that reminds me of those SHFiguarts display pieces.

Sagat comes with his Tiger Wave effect piece.

Cammy's eye's are gonna get fixed so they aren't so small.

Guile's face has been improved.

Same with DeeJay

Dhalshim is pretty much ready to go.

M. Bison is gonna have an all white pupiless eyes head and one that looks like the character select screen

This line is really reigniting my love of all things Street Fighter.

Sounds like Alpha is the next game on the table...

Watching the interview my ears perked up when Juhn said he’d be interested in the Mortal Kombat and Darkstalkers licenses, and that Capcom vs SNK figures might be possible.

Also lol at him saying IV and V are the games he’s least interested in doing figures from.

I can't blame him. SFIV's newcomers are mostly terrible and SFV's looks for old characters are 95% awful. There's some characters like Poison, Lucia, Abigail, Zeku, and Akira who are technically SFIV/V and I would love to see them all in some capacity, but of actual newly introduced characters, only maybe Juri and C. Viper are really necessary. Decapre, Ed, Rashid, Falke, Kolin, and Laura would all be welcome though.

Classic Final Fight Cody will be a fun figure to eventually have, but Alpha will probably happen first. I want and need both though! Maybe after the Alpha/IV specific looks, we can get a Final Fight wave or exclusive four pack with Cody and Guy in their classic outfits, Haggar, and red shorts Poison.

I would take Alpha series next, then SF3, SF1, SF5, SF6, SF4, then Pocket Fighters. However after the USF2 roster is complete, I actually prefer they start mixing the SF character selections from every game for each wave.

Other Capcom titles I would like to see are Darkstalkers and those two dudes from Forgotten Worlds. 

Hell yeah, I'd love to get an Alpha version of Cammy.
It definitely seems like they're going for the Capcom characters from the Marvel vs Capcom series, so including Darkstalkers for the licence would be a no-brainer.

I wonder if they'd make other Capcom fighters like Captain Commando, Strider, Jin Saotome & Hayato Kanzaki?

The big boys are a separate price point from the regular figures. Which would mean a different SKU.

Juhn hinted at Akuma coming next year. So it doesn't sound like he's in a wave, which would mean SDCC.

I'd assume the same for Violent Ken.

So that just leaves the four big boys. Does that just mean they'll all get revealed together as the last wave?

It's crazy that only one wave has been released but we're close to the entire SF2 roster being revealed.
