Ok I love the Fei Long and Ryu I have, but I think its a stretch to call Jada the most “reliable”. There are a few qc issues on the figures (paint rubbing off being the most frequent Ive heard about), and we are only at one wave of released figures and an exclusive repaint.
The new figures look pretty good though, and this street fighter line is one I’m most looking forward to next year. Might wait on some characters to get the alt versions instead of the standard colored ones. Hope the future repaints aren’t all higher priced online store exclusives. Also hope they get to Final Fight, as I’m pretty bummed we never got Guy in the SOTA line.
Wish they could get the Caslevania license.
Reliable may be the wrong word. Maybe consistent is more accurate. You know whatever they put out is going to be well sculpted and super articulated.
Toymigos put out a walkthrough video that's HD and these guys are beautiful.
Cammy, Vega, and Bison are the ones I just can't wait for.
I'm praying they get all of these out fairly quickly. It'd be nice to have the classic SF2 lineup completed for once!
Very excited for Vega and Cammy. Vega's face isn't quite my ideal (not really a fan of his SF2 art that it's based on) but eh, hopefully they can get an Alpha style head out eventually.. Hopefully keeping it brunette and not blonde, though.
At the intended pace of a few figures every quarter (as stated in their latest toymigos interview), jesus christ, we'll have ALL of SF2 shown off next year as well as likely the first few figures from Alpha, 3S, and later games, and all of that released in 2025.
I'm curious what the other licenses they're teasing to be at SDCC next year will be, especiallu since it'll alledgedly be big. God I hate waiting.
So of these 17 characters, the only 5 we haven't seen yet are T. Hawk, E. Honda, Zangief, Akuma, and Balrog.
Vega is too buff/and or his torso is too short. There is no room for his sash. His face looks great even though Cammy's face looks too anime, Bisons face has beady cross eyes, and Blanka's head looks completely wrong. (Terrible.)
Sagat looks good. Can't wait for Dhalsim, he looks great.
Extremely pumped for more reveals. Am I the only one who kind of likes the one figure at a time approach?
I like the steady trickle of product (it should be more consistent next year), and getting one at a time makes me interact with the previous releases more as I'm posing them up together instead of new vs new.
I'm also betting Vega gets a masked alt head with a ponytail on ball joint like Cammy.
Accessory wise, it makes sense that Ken is coming with a fireball. Gets a 2nd color out there and saves the shoryuken as an alt color accessory. I'd bet Aluma will come with an alt fireball too, but I would be ecstatic if we got a shadow silhouette for his teleport or a burning effect for Raging Demon.
At this point my most wanted characters are Zangief, E. Honda, T. Hawk, Aluma, Balrog, and Violent Ken! 😁
I prefer the waves approach just so I can save on shipping from EE, but I guess I'll do the BBTS pile of loot option instead. Never seen these at Target or anywhere local.

I wonder if they intend to make the mask somehow strap on over the hair sculpt (bad idea) or if the masked version of Vega is a separate headsculpt (good idea)?
Looks awesome, though. I wish these guys were also doing Mortal Kombat figures, because they're doing a really great job with Street Fighter.
I think it's safe to say that Vega will have an alternate masked head. The way Vega's hair drapes on the sides of his face make it so a mask like that couldn't even work.
Good observation. I think he mask is just one of his accessories. I wonder if his claw will come off, that can technically be another and is game accurate!

Blanka's style has changed a lot from version to version of Street Fighter. Are you sure it's inaccurate to all of the versions? I haven't seen that we even know yet which game that figure is supposed to be from.
Pretty sure these are based on the most recent version of the game, Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers. The character images on the back of the box are from the character select screen of that game. Plus they're doing Evil Ryu and Violent Ken, who weren't in previous versions of Street Fighter II.

I actually think this Blanka looks the most accurate to SF2 out of anything we've ever had in toy form.
I think some people are just too used to the modern dark green.
I mean my eyes could just be deceiving me, but the head doesn't really look that off from USFII.
