Love how Brawn came out. Funny that you can mistransform him to resemble his long legged G1 mode.
Holding off on the Buzzworthy death of Ironhide and Prowl set. Will pick up on sale. But I do hope they make Brawn and Ratchet to match.
Hi All, Do we think it is likely we will get a SS86 Prowl without damage effect, I'd prefer to go without recreating that traumatic scene lol
Posted this over in the Legacy thread, but supposedly SS'86 Ultra Magnus, Ratchet, and Frenzy (Rumble) go up for PO this Thursday (8/24).
@emirate-xaaron My concern is them sticking with the opaque solid plastic/painted windows. It looks really cheap to me.
My only hope if they do that is that that's everyone's preferred version & eBay gets flooded with affordable Earthrises.

I understand that the opaque windows are more durable but I agree that it looks cheap, my other big concern that due to space I don't have room for multiples of the same character
I don't like the painted windows at all either. Ironically I would have preferred Magnus to have it. It would have been more cartoon accurate.
It concerns me they would do opaque for a SS'86 Optimus. Although I could see them offering different versions in BB if it came down to it.
Frenzy already seems to have sold out and listing disappeared from Pulse, but Amazon still has him. I preordered Ultra Magnus $90!!), Ratchet, and Frenzy between both sites.
Frenzy was gone by the time I got to Pulse, so I switch over to BBTS for him. Stuck with Pulse for Ratchet and Ultra Magnus.
I pre-ordered Frenzy and Ratchet from Amazon. Ultra Magnus just isn't bringing enough new to the table for $90 of my money.
I forgot they were going up, so Pulse was out of Rumble & Ratchet by the time I got the Pulse mobile app notification, but thankfully Amazon still had both.
Got the death of Ironhide and Prowl set. Great figures. That scene was so traumatic for me. In my heart, they survived that. I mean Ironhide and Brawn have such tough armor on the original show! They should be able to take a couple hits. Considering how much damage in the show.
I immediately thought the Decepticons had some kind of major upgrade at that point, how could they all be so strong as to kill off such key Autobots? Or was it because they were basically at point blank range? These scenes in the movie are long engrained in me, but they are still the talk of the internet decades later. It’s amazing.
It’s one of my all-time favorite movies. Even if I disagree with the idea that Transformers can die so easily. And you have to love that rock music!
Speaking of the 1986 movie line, can anybody help me see the differences with the new Ratchet? He looks so similar to the two-pack version that came with Lifeline (light green Arcee repaint). Is it just a new crotch piece?

I’m sure it’s the same mold as SS Ironhide, which was a major upgrade over the Earthrise version. I think the biggest difference is that the roof no longer comes off to become a shield/sled. It’s all incorporated into the transformation. There are probably other cosmetic changes like the crotch, but it should be pretty different from the 2pk version.
