Just saw pics of the TMNT crossover. It will transform into the Turtle Party Wagon. It has parts to change it into any of the four boys plus their weapons. At first it looked like it was four different figures that combined to a van, but no.
I love it! I can't wait. I've seen worse robot modes, and the van mode is SO GOOD. Now who to display it as? Since I obviously cannot afford to drop $200 to get four of them... 🤣
Now who to display it as?
Red Mask with front of van clipped on to the chest so it’s “Metal Head who is also a van with Mirage style all red mask” (or paint one of the mask yellow so it’s just Van Metalhead)
The HISS Megatron is down to $39.99 on Amazon again. I had a lot of disdain for this figure, and its cheap hollow low effort feel, but the price and the idea of an upcoming MOBAT Prime to face off against finally made me order one.
As to the size issue for a MOBAT Prime scaling with Megatron and the others, I think it will probably be pretty hallow like the others in robot mode, and likely have some partsformer construction. Weapons and shields out of the the turret maybe, and depending on the size, maybe even a foldout "base" mode out of a sizeable chunk of MOBAT a la his trailer.
@doc-baghead I legit thought of getting an extra mask/belt buckle off eBay, because you know people will be looking to get rid of extras, and I was thinking of making it gunmetal, but I like the Metalhead route better!
I got the TMNT Party Wallop in today. Robot mode is definitely pretty cool. You get the standard head-topper and then one for each turtle plus a set of weapons for each. The belt buckle rotates so you can pick either a blank one or the insignia of your chosen turtle. What I like best is there is storage for everything. The front of the van can be on the front of the robot or affixed to a forearm as a shield. Only downside is the peg hole for said shield is right in what becomes the center of the rear windows so that's a bit unsightly. The transformation is a little cumbersome with so many parts that can pop off, but not especially difficult. It looks pretty decent as the Turtle Van. There are a few ugly hinges as well as the aforementioned rear window eyesore, but the only other aspect of it that I don't like is they had to put a joint in the center of the side windows as well so that looks off. There's a tiny bit of diecast in use, it ends up being the back of the van and the crotch of the robot. The "nose" of the van pops off to reveal a pizza as well. I do wish the front of the nose was painted like the top as it has a cheap appearance. The weapons can all be stored in vehicle mode as well, though Leo's swords look a bit silly if you can get them to slot into place. They plug into the underside of the van into one of the diecast parts and they don't go in too easily. Once in place, they also stick out of the front of the van a little bit and I don't like how that looks so I probably won't bother.
Not that I plan to display this one in vehicle mode anyway. The turtle robot is too fun to leave hidden. I definitely don't love it enough to grab 3 more and assemble a full turtle squad, but if they hit deep clearance? Maybe. Definitely a missed opportunity to not have a Metalhead portrait, but I can't expect Hasbro to deliver on something Playmates cancelled almost thirty years ago. I'm curious if this will be one and done like a lot of the collaborations seemingly are, or if there is an appetite to pair this one with a villain.
The Knight Rider TF looks cool. Not sure it's worth $50, but I preordered it anyway. It's up on BBTS. I like the design of the robot too, not just the car. Any chance it'll go on sale?
I ordered the Triple T - mostly so I could have a Triple T and black shirt Sarge for my vintage Joes. Soundwave is permanently in Thunder Machine mode on my shelf.

I don’t transform these guys anymore either. They’re basically just Joe vehicles since they’re so faithful to those original designs. Bonus is the figures!
I wonder how well some of these TF x whatever are doing. There were reports of Soundwave (Thundermachine) also showing up at discount places for something like $25. Almost all of them seem to sit for long periods of time and then either finally disappear, or end up at closeout stores.
They are great, well most of them, so I'm glad they are still doing them.
Kup/Triple T is down to 77.99 on Amazon right now, but I'm still holding out hope that it goes lower. I've been spotting it at GameStop for 89.99, a measly 84 or so for Pro membership.
Added alot of paint details to my Ecto1 transformer (1st release) especially in vehicle mode. I can't do anything more? it's fully loaded.
- Repainted all lights, window frames, inside of the back fins, back windows

- added license plate in the back
- added Autobot Decepticon decal, red stripe on side, GB logo on back door
