@justice Unfortunately I don't think any of Super7's products fully match the prototypes...

Yeah, the yellow on Jaga's hand is just towards the tips and I can see how you may think the plastic was reacting to the sun or something.

The upper part of the left boot on my Jaga isn't painted (like around the shin area).  The foot under it is painted, just not the leg part.

I had him displayed for a couple days before I noticed because the paint isn't that much different.  I don't think I'll bother doing anything about it as it doesn't bother me much, but still wish Super7 had better QC.

Did anyone get Snarf or Willa yet? How are you feeling about them?

They're okay. Willa's skin tone on her torso doesn't match the limbs. Otherwise, standard S7 articulation. I have Snarf on his tail.

I got the most recent wave this past week.  There is nothing really special about either Snarf or Willa; they are typically Super 7.  Having said that, I am enjoying these figures.  Willa looks better in person than I was expecting and Snarf is kind of mandatory as a main character if you are collecting.  I still think they should have packed Snarfer or something with Snarf as he is so small, but what can you do?

On the other two figures - Rataro is a decent sized figure and looks good.  Mongor is a figure you could pass on because he's a minor character and yet at the same time he's the best figure in the wave.  He just looks so evil, especially when you swap out the head and put the effects on him...  I find myself going back and looking at him because he looks so cool.

Overall I feel this line is "nothing special" and yet I find myself really enjoying collecting the line.  It must be the nostalgia.  

Snarf is Mediocre at best. Looks good with the rest, but it's a S7 product through and through. Willa I didn't pre-order. May pick up Willa on sale.

Mongor should be on his way soon. That is the one I hope redeems the wave. Rataro-O is pretty good.

I can't afford the rest of the wave at the moment, so I'm hoping they stay in stock for awhile, but I had to grab Snarf at least.

I think he's great despite being a typical Super7 product, which I definitely wouldn't give some of the other figures on this shelf that much of a pass...OR THE SHELF ABOVE... 😤

I'd buy Snarf at a deep discount. So I'll wait it out. I'm still happy with my Joe Amaro Snarf.

Right.    I bought the S7 Snarf at full stupid price and I think the Amaro Snarf I already had is better.    Sigh.

So I'm thinking about purchasing the elbow pad for Tygra off of shapeways, but I'm totally unfamiliar with painting something like this for a figure like this. I'd want it to match the right blues on the figure while at the same time not chipping easily. Any recommendations on what I need to do, or has anyone made a guide? Thanks!

I surely added that to my cart and clipped the coupon. IT'S STILL TOO EXPENSIVE.

I used that coupon and ordered Snarf via Amazon.  Like NORM said, he's still too expensive.  But I'm essentially done with this line now.  Unless I find some other figures on deep discount.

Snarf is such a mediocre figure.  Sold for twice what he's worth.  I pulled off his stand tail to switch to the regular.  At first, I thought you're supposed to switch the tails at the butt.  But the peg/hole there is small.  You're supposed to switch tails at the mid point, which is a massive ball.  The tail only swivels at that massive ball so I'm not sure why it's even a ball.  And it's much harder to pop the tail apart at that point since the ball is so huge.  And given how close the swappable joint is next to the clear base, I can imagine people accidentally breaking the tail off the base.   Also the small ball at the connection to the body is hinge/swivel instead of just utilizing a ball socket which creates stiffer, more restricted posing.  Overall the tails is just so stiff and uninteresting to pose.  Just odd engineering (shocker I know).   Also don't really like the waxy look of Snarf's facial fur.   He's just such a mid figure.

I finally shipped my Pile of Loot with this wave so will get to finally be disappointed in person by this Snarf purchase.  But at least I have Mongor and Ratar-O to look forward to.

BBTS still has the next wave with Hachiman and Alluro scheduled to arrive "February",  so there's one more day, but  i kinda doubt it.   They also list Silverhawks Wave 3,  King Conan,  Conan movie wave and the Czarface Ultimates as shipping in February.     

I did go to the Super7 page for more clarity when everything might actually ship... it has Silverhawks wave 3 now listed as March -  along with Czarface.

Silverhawks Wave 4 are listed as shipping in April

Thundercats Wave 8 AND Wave 9 now say they are shipping in May

KIng Conan now set for June with Conan Wave 5 set for July

Thundercats Wave 10 now listed for October 

Given that Czarface was originally supposed to ship last October, I'll continue to take all of these ship dates with a grain of salt.

@ashtalon the waxy look of Snarf's facial fur is what makes him seem so cheap to me.
