I had no interest in it until you called it Anti-Eternia. That at least gives it some context. Otherwise, it's too random a repaint. I'd rather shell out for glowing eyes.
I preordered the BBTS Mumm-Ra. I just thought it looks really cool in that colour scheme.
...At the same time I'm thinking how many repaints and variants of this figure do I really need? Still, it looked too good to pass up.

Right... that's the part that's got me a little messed up. Like I'm picturing him standing behind Anti-Eternia He-Man and that seems like it makes alot of sense on a shelf, dammit. Don't help me talk myself into this...
Yeah the Anit-Eternia colour scheme looks good, but I am good with the original look, especially since there is no canon explanation for this look. I do really like the red on his weapons though.
I'd almost be more inclined to pick up Lion-O in this black/red color scheme to pair with Anti-Eternia He-Man. But honestly, I think I'm just done with this line. There really isn't anything I want badly anymore. I'd consider getting the Lunataks IF all of their prices dropped. But I'd really rather not pick up these "deluxe" reissues of every one.
Oh man... yeah an Anti-Eternia Lion-O with the black and red color scheme would have been pretty great.
I really really like the red and black color scheme, maybe to use as one of the "Ancient spirits of evil" that Mumm-Ra summons the power of, but 75 is a lot for multiples of the same basic body.

yeah it’s a bit of a cash grab to charge that much for a repaint. Every time they do a re-issue or different colour way of an existing mold it should be cheaper as they already recouped the cost of tooling on the first release.
For sure - I agree with that. On the one hand I don't want to reward Super7 and overpay, on the other hand I really appreciate Super7 and would like to reward them for how well they facilitate my addictions. I don't feel like there's an urgent need to order this right away as I doubt it will sell out instantly, so I'm going to ruminate for awhile and see how things go. And then at some future point when I'm in desperate need of a dopamine fix I'll stumble to the site and order it out of desperation and a need to order something.
I caved and bought Wilykat on ebay the other day, he was $110 after shipping. I'm a weak man. But, at least the core team is complete! Now I just need Snarfer for the good guys, and then focus on the Lunataks as they release. But even if Super7 decided to quit making them, my core group is finished finally.
Anti-Eternia Mumm-Ra is an exclusive to BBTS for their anniversary, right? I suspect the production run is pretty low.

On X, Super7 said limited to 3,000. I don't know how limited 3,000 is compared to their usual runs.

The repaints drive me nuts because they charge full price! I already have gotten the original mold at nearly half price!
One Target by me now has SEVEN Monkian figures. Does that mean they sold through the same number of Lion-O figures?? How do I keep missing this guy?
I haven't heard for certain that they are evenly packed - though I suspect it's true - which would be an absolutely foolish choice. Lion-O, the face of the brand and most popular character of the franchise by far - evenly packed with one of the main bad guy's henchmen? That would be a sizeable own goal even for a company like Super7 which is capable of shooting itself in the foot with frequency. If you want to sour a deal with a major retailer, screw up the case pack out on your first in-store offering of a product line so they end up drowning in extra figures.
