@panthercult I agree with you.  That is a pretty "meh" super pack.  Nice to have but definitely not something that would entice me to order directly from Super7.  Unlike previous offerings.

Maybe it is time to go a bit more hardcore on the super packs to entice buyers?  Bits of deep dive gear that probably won't make it into the line any other way?  Of course that would probably lead to complaints from collectors, but we can all agree that ship has sailed a long time ago.

As for the reveals.   I really like these choices.   Luna and Amok is great, and I am glad they are coming together with the expected price tag.   I also like the alternate heads and hands.  Amok looks like he can do a fair amount of movement with his articulation.

Claudus looks great and I think a nice little display of him, Jaga and Lion-O would look great.  Especially around the table in the Cat's Lair.

Robear Bill is great and as others have said, expected.  I like the torch and Cat's Lair diagram.  Same issue as with Snarf, hard to take at full price.

Thunderian Guard is another great choice and I like the look of him.   I had to look him up again to see if there was any variation in the animation because I do think that an alternate head with different features would have been nice to add to the troop building option.  However it is still a great choice.

Oh carp. It didn't occur to me that Amok would be so deep. I don't know if I have space for him after all.

The tail adds that depth so I guess he'll have to be sideways on the shelf?

I think I'm all in on the new wave.  Thundercats are one of the few properties I still collect; if I was into multiple lines I may skip some of these.

Amok and Luna would be my must have from the wave.  Claudus and Robear Bill are nice to have.  The Thunderian Guard will go well with Claudus, but if I was going to skip one it would be him.

There's a part of me that feels I almost need two guards so they can stand to either side of Claudus or the cat's lair, but I'll think on it some more.  I guess the same can be said for Robear Bill so you could build out multiple Berbils.  It's a high price point to troop build, though.

I don't know for certain, but I think the Thundarian Guard is a place where they could be reusing parts from other figures since it's kind of generic.  In the future if they make more berbils they can probably reuse parts of Robear Bill as well so they may be saving some costs by doing these characters.

As others have said the super pack isn't great for this wave.  I don't order direct from Super7 anyway since I'm in Canada.

Those Berbils... It's like the producers of the show just saw Return of the Jedi and wondered what it would be like if Ewoks and Astromech droids mated.

Yeah, my shelf is almost completely full, so whenever I can get Hachiman, Shiner, Alluro, the three Reptilians, Ratar-O, Mongor, and Willa...I have room for maybe the two skinniest lol...definitely have space for Bill, at least.

Berbils are really tempting to start as I loved them as a kid. Wouldn't have been able to pass up a two-pack for regular price, but that was never part of Super7's strategy. Still bummed the smaller figures are full price.

Great wave, but I'm probably done after Snarfer arrives. (I have all the Cats, regular Java, main Mutants, and both main Mumm-Ras.) I think I've got all I need for now, but a Snow Meow would probably draw me back in and start me on the likes of Hachiman, Mandora, and Snowman. So fingers crossed he doesn't happen! Ha!

I've started repainting a Masterverse Battle Cat for my Ultimates Snow Meow,  so look for Super7 to announce one in San Diego in 3 weeks  😆

Berbils on the other hand... while I think a subsequent multi-pack is inevitable - gotta get some good reuse somehow -  I'm not sure I will need.    I ended up buying 3 of the Berbils Joe Amaro made 6 years ago or so,  so I don't have a desperate need for a bunch of Ultimates Berbils now, I don't think.

I do plan to ask Brian in San Diego about the future direction for Thundercats Ultimates -  how much ground is there for him left to tread, really?    How does he keep the line chugging to get the last couple of Lunataks -  Red Eye and Tug Mug - finished without running aground.   Are there still any toy deco Cats to release?    Does he just start mixing in re-releases of the main cast?

There's a couple of Berserkers they have left to do -  Cruncher, Ram Bam, Top Spinner -   there's Turmagarr the Walrus Man from the vintage line....   but there's not much else ,  and certainly nothing "a-list" to keep the line going after that.  (I left Safari Joe off deliberately - I hate that guy and would skip that figure for sure)

After that list there are a handful of one-off characters from the show that might make decent looking figures -  my personal favorite Zaxx  -  but there are others like the Deomolisher, Plutar, Malcar, Shadowmaster or Maftet that would probably look good as Ultimates figures but would probably struggle to move the sales needle at all.

I just wonder if the line has legs enough even to finish the Lunataks.

I'd really like a toy colors Ratar-O.  I always loved his colors together and the cartoon version doesn't quite hit like it does.  I skipped the current classics one for a while before finally giving in because I doubt Ratar-O is popular enough to warrant two releases and they definitely won't do it if the first release hasn't sold out yet.

I wouldn't mind having a toy colors Jackal Man also.

@panthercult It seems like Thundercats is, at least, their second best selling Ultimates line (after Turtles).  Based just on the fact they have done so many waves.  So I would imagine they are probably good for a couple more waves at least.

Then of course, as you pointed out, there are the cartoon repaints, it seems like they decided to sprinkle the remaining options throughout upcoming waves rather than doing specific cartoon only waves.  I think I remember Brian talking in an interview about re-releasing figures that have not been out for a while where warranted.  So I could see more "name" characters getting back out there.  Some like Slithe and Tygra are going for silly money on the secondary market right now.  Even the Kittens are going for significantly more than original price and they are fairly new releases. Maybe you could ask him about that option as well?

I fear that Brian has made the choice on smaller figures being single packed and we aren't likely to see a multi-pack anytime soon. I'm sure there will be a Ro-Bear Belle repaint, and probably even Bob and Bert if the line goes long enough.  I'm also kind of worried that Tug-Mug and Red Eye will be higher priced releases.  Well maybe not Red Eye since I think of him as an equivalent to say Buzzsaw in the Silverhawks line so maybe he won't be, but Tug-Mug might be higher priced due to size.

Can I ask why you don't want Safari Joe?   He seems like a highly requested character for the line.

Brian has said on an interview they have Thundercats waves planned into 2026.  I'm sure things can change, though.  Hopefully there is enough left to finish the Lunataks since they announced Luna with Amok, there are only 2 more if you don't count Queen Luna.  They could probably finish the Beserkers as well.  Beyond that there are so many minor characters they could tackle, but those other characters probably won't bring enough sales to be worthwhile.

Personally in addition to finishing the Berskers and Lunataks, I'd like to see Jagara and Pyron.  Jagara has a neat design and is in a fair number of episodes.  Pyron is only in one episode, but has a cool design.

There are lots of vehicles they could tackle, but those likely don't sell well.  Or they could make the four Ancient Spirits of Evil statues - I was thinking they could save on articulation and make them large for the price, but they would likely just charge a lot for them with or without articulation based on size.

I could see them moving onto the 2011 series in part or full as the 80's line dies down.  That would give them some main characters to put out.  I wonder if they moved into the 2011 series if they would do the double joints like they have done for the 2003 Turtles.

Aside from the price point being high, I have enjoyed collecting these Super 7 Ultimates Thundercats in general.

You are forgetting about Zaxx, he has a cool design too.

I'd love to see a Mondo Pyron one day, so he would likely need to be released in this line first as this line will surely go deeper than Mondo will, but then again you never know, perhaps Mondo will go deeper.

Somewhat tempted by the SDCC exclusive light up Lion-O.

Mostly because I NEED a pinless standard version of the main Thundercat.

I honestly don't hate the Lion-O I have now, but could be convinced by a future main release on this new sculpt depending on accessories.

I'm personally not interested enough in glowing eyes to pay an extra $10 bucks for this one, though. Of course, by the time a standard version comes out, $65 may be the going price anyways, so what do I know?
