correct, but the problem that's potential here is if retailers stsrt to realize they don't sell that well and scale back on product since there's no demand, or just not buy at all. Now they are at brick and mortar and they two will catch on that no one buys them lol. They SOLD them to the retailers. That's all that really matters. The retailers aren't accepting them free of charge and paying S7 when the items sell. So his "sell through" comment might be right in a manner of speaking, just not how most people would see it.
Got my van from sideshow last night. Haven't opened it. I habe so much big stuff I haven't opened yet that dates back to Oct nov
OF COURSE TOXIE GOES ON SALE THE DAY I GET MY PILE OF LOOT, lol...
Anyhoo, grabbed Genghis & Toxie. Still want Junkyard & Space Cadet Raph, but things have been tighter lately, and no other lines are slowing down.
Thanks to Genghis to lean on, I was able to move Metalhead out of the corner, since his hips won't support the weight of his backpack.
Super7 updated their pre-order page yesterday. The current shipping calendar as it relates to TMNT:
Wave 9 - In warehouse, shipping now (Slam Dunkin' Don, Wingnut, Scumbug, Zak the Neutrino, Flocked Splinter)
Wave 10 - In production, shipping to customers late June (Classic Rock Leo, Mirage Casey, Karai, Ninja April)
Wave 7 - Scheduled to leave the factory in June, ship to customers late August (Punker Don, Robotic Bebop, Triceraton, Metalhead Mikey, Guerilla Gorilla)
What the hell is up with Wave 7? Did approvals for Guerilla Gorilla get complicated and delay production? They probably haven't gone into production yet if they're not expecting to ship until June. Wave 11 is also absent. I'm guessing it's an oversight or they haven't really started on anything with it and there's no timeline. Probably a 2025 release at this point since the preorders go out to October. I'm surprised we haven't seen some reviewers get Wave 9 already, but I think Super7 has cut back on that stuff since TMNT is pretty well established at this point.
Your setup there looks awesome TENIME. They all look so good together like that. I can't wait to do that myself. I'm just in the process of waiting for my house and toy room to get done lol.

Super7 has cut back on sending products to YouTube reviewers because QC has been such trash, that any early reviews would hurt sales. If reviews dont come out until after you bought the crappy QC figure then it's too late to return it. Brian Flynn wouldn't even open a new release figure at one of the cons within recent years, and instead just showed Pixel Dan the sealed package of the toy.
Usually by now Amazon would have the latest release of TMNT Ultimates up on their website being sold by third party vendors, but there’s no sign of Genghis Frog, Space Cadet Raph, or the others. I always assumed we’d start seeing less availability of these figures as time went on since they always went on deep discount, but I didn’t think it would be to this degree.
Wonder if less figures being less so available will turn people off of the line. Did anyone get swayed to buy directly from Super7 this last go around?

Figures, the one figure in this entire line I'm the most excited about (Punker Don) gets delayed ad infinitum...
If wave 9 is shipping to customers now, that means direct pre-orders are first this time around. Hope BBTS or other online retailers get these soon, can't wait for Slam Dunkin' Don!
@supercamel-1982 Thanks, I just wish it didn't look so empty. My bank account isn't ready for more figures, but my OCD is past impatient. One of the many reasons why I decided to include the Toxic Crusaders figures in the display (the Playmates connection being the other biggest reason).
Of course, then there's the villain shelf, which is packed due to so many giant characters, 4 Foot Soldiers, and 15 Mousers, lol...
I appreciate you putting the four Turtles in the order of the theme song. That's the way it should be on everyone's shelves, but not nearly enough people do it and it bugs me for some reason.
Haha, that's the only way I can order them, because of that!

I'm a little surprised by that as well. I figured Wave 9 would be the first to experience some shortage, but I guess it came earlier.
So, with the newest Wave about to start getting in the hands of customers (the Wave with Slam Dunkin' Don, Wingnut and Screwloose, etc), we should see another new Wave go up for pre order soon.
Any predictions on what you think it might be?
I'm going to guess
Heavy Metal Raph (finish the Rockin' Turtles)
General Traag
Fugitoid
Hose Em Down Don
The next wave is supposed to be the first of the 2k3 turtle. And it sounded like it’s going to be the four turtles, but I guess we’ll see. With their strategy for this line seemingly working well, I’m surprised they would move off of the one turtle as an anchor figure model. Maybe they don’t see 2k3 having the same legs. Plus with alternating waves, it would take forever to get all four turtles out.
