I got these 3 off the pegs at a Target I don't hit too often, and have yet to see any hint of them at my 3 closest stores. I'm assuming Target is getting a single case of 4 figures at a time, and people (generally) grab all 4 at once.
That sounds about right. I'm sure there is an online drop coming at some point. Target exclusives usually end up being plentiful, and I can't recall any recent Playmates figures being hard to get.
I have still never seen a vintage April, but have seen restocks of her case mates Genghis & Mondo, as well as the villains from the wave beforehand (Shredder, Krang, etc).
Oh, and I never saw the Walmart exclusive samurai torso flippy armor guys, either (the pizza shooters were hard enough to get, I only saw two in person, and had to get help from old Fwoosh - maybe it was you? LOL - you or Norm, lol).
Oh oh, and I never saw the original four turtles or the van or blimp (got the figures from my local collectible shop for MSRP, and got the vehicles off Walmart's website when they eventually put them up like a year later).
Oh I totally forgot those Samurai flip things happened...did those actually make it out? Holy shit, I think I only ever saw one photo and that was it. Walmarts around here have been CHOKING on storage shell turtles (even after putting them on clearance!) and the mutant re-releases. Mutant Mayhem stopped selling and piled up on itself real fast too.
Looks like these are heading to Amazon. Not available just yet, but bookmark the page if you want them and never found them at Target. They are a little more expensive ($70), but they're advertised as coming with a comic book.
So not only do I get to pay $20 more, but now I get to pay $30 more! Yippee! Thanks for the great distribution, Playmates!
These figures will probably be clogging shelves at Target in a few months time. Patience is key.

I still haven't found a vintage April, but keep seeing everyone else clogging shelves at every Target, and never saw the Samurai Flippy Dudes at Walmart.
I'm also finding the new Mutant Mayhem motorcycles, but haven't seen the vintage Toilet Taxi yet, which shares the same SKU & is packed with them.
I’ve been checking almost daily for the Playmates sketch Turtles to no avail. Glad Amazon is now an option.

Ah, vertical hip hinge & swivel, when the original 1987 figures had ball joint hips...
Also, what the actual f*** is going on with Leo/Donnie/Mikey's gigantic honkers!? Raph's the only one who looks like he uses the original head. Did they already lose the molds from 2020-2021!? 🙄
Also looks like they didn't correct the Leo/Donatello head-swap from the promo. I paid little mind to it at the time as I just assumed it would get fixed before they were finalized, but I guess not. It's fitting they look like something that belongs in a sewer.
Really don't know what Playmates could've been thinking.
