I like the two headed Monster has stitching all over it’s body, if you’re a real stickler for cohesion in your Monster Turtle display you can put Frankenstein Raph, Hunchback Leo, and TwoHeaded Donnie and Mikey together as a set of stitched together monster clones and Werewolf Raph, Creature Leo, Mummy Mikey, and Invisible Donnie together as “Turtles with Monster Powers”

”but two headed monster isn’t Universal and I don’t consider Hunchback or Invisible Man part of the core Universal Monster team!”, look strawman I made up, we all have weird toy collecting hang ups, you do you, but this line is dope as hell and every figure is an absolute banger.

I’m gonna say I called it, it might not use Bela’s likeness but that is Dracula as Shredder not Shredder as Dracula. I love his wine bottle (sorry “juice jug”) is a sake bottle, I’ve wanted that action figure prop for decades but never bothered to track down an in scale gashpon so I’m glad to finally get one.

I’m also really happy Krang is Metaluna, was real worried since it was movie based it was gonna be Donnie “because he’s the nerd” or Mikey to throw everyone off. The fact he’s also Robot Monster and looks like a sofubi just makes it even better. Trevor kept saying Shredder was getting multiple repaints and I can’t imagine wanting those over the original black suit, but I’ll buy every single version of Metaluna Krang, freakin’ army build out a 1950’s scifi alien invasion!

as long as Paramount is willing to let disgusting little gross boy versions of the Turtles and related characters be sold in stores let James Groman cook and I hope the line gets even weirder going forward!

A pipe dream for me would be a TMNT/The Thing mash-up.  Hey, it's a Universal monster!  But since they seem to be done with the Thing license in general...

But really, I've been a fan of Groman's style for a long time, so the more they let him do his thing, the more excited I'll continue to be about this line.

Per Toy Shiz's video of the NECA NYTF booth, the 2 variants for the Shredder Dracula.

Target version.

Bram Stoker inspired (the armor is red, the image was just taken with my phone off my monitor screen).

Walmart version.

Slightly Super Shredder inspired with the hints of purple.

Found the Dracula Shredder at Target today, I was pretty sure I wanted him but seeing him in person I had to have it. I am interested to see the red Coppola inspired version, but I think the black was the one for me.

Dear NECA, just make a Dracula Donnie so I can call it done.  It doesn't even have to be THE Dracula it can be Donnie in a Dracula Halloween costume and Shredder can be the defacto Drac.  Invisible Man is such a "meh" monster to give Donnie and the "Two Bad" version I don't really view as a core monster reference.

@jtmarsh might I suggest getting a bootleg Movie Donatello and a The Munsters (reboot) the Count (Grandpa) and just swapping the head, hands, maybe feet if you feel that’s necessary, and gluing the shell to his back?

The Munsters Count is sort of rotund in a way the other Draculas aren’t which lends to a nice Turtly body shape… plus his cape is lined with Red which is nice.

Thanks for the idea, it's worth considering.  Since I prefer WereRaph over the FrankenRaph, I'd considered just painting FrankenRaph's mask purple and that way I'd at least have 4 of the major monsters covered if they balk on ever giving us a Dracula.

The Munsters Count figure does make for a decent generic Dracula body though.  I'd just have to be confident in my abilities to give that movie Donnie head slicked back black hair or something to make him look more like Dracula.
