I opened up a lot of space since the van's preorder, so I'm hoping neca makes it available again. I was very tempted by showz store's sale price for the third party, but held off because there was already talk of a second chance from neca. It would be a bummer if I passed on a good alternative, only to have neca not offer it again.
I am pleased to hear that you have purchased it Agent of SWORD. I don't think you will regret it at all in the long run! When you get the kitchen and laboratory, you will appreciate your living room even more!
People, this is the final week of pre-orders, I think the deadline is in the next day or two so don't delay! Just think of that FOMO once the pre-order door slams shut! This is an official diorama piece, so surely you want your official figures standing on and touching official dioramas and accessories, and not have your figures touching dirty unofficial ones! 😀

Patiently waiting to see if NECA puts some Vans up for sale as they hinted they might.
Deliberately skipped the pre-order window due to other expenses/the roof debacle. Would love one to put on top of the Sewer Lair Living Room, the same cool setup they had at SDCC.
I can't speak for if these were recent shipments or if they found these in a box in the back (the guy said it was with the new shipment, with the Steel Clan, Misfits Fiend ultimate, etc), but my store put out a Triceraton infantry & Roadkill Rodney, Traag & Granitor, Casey & Foot, and a Zarax and Zork. The code above the UPC didn't seem to be updated or as a recent shipment (not like how Casey's now reads '23), so it might just be some redistribution.
Has anyone actually seen any movement on their vans?
I haven't even gotten a label created.
@blankslate It'll probably be like any of the HasLab releases where it sits in label created status for the majority of the month before actually shipping.
The label created status is only showing up through the fedex app/site. The NECA order screen shows no update.
@slixta Right, I haven't even gotten that far. So anyone getting theirs is ahead of the curve on me.
Although I have a buddy who's had three labels created at three different times, and all cancelled.
NECA is clearly just preparing for shipment right now, which isn't uncommon for them. No movement on my van either, but I wasn't expecting any. Usually, it's about a week to 10 days when they do this. Could go longer though. I wouldn't be worried if you don't see something in the app yet as they may not have created labels for everything just yet if they're planning on shipping in waves. It's coming from NJ, which isn't their main warehouse, so it probably won't be as speedy a process as it could be as I don't think they have the full-time resources available to churn out shipments at that location (the SDCC turtles shipped from there, and some are still waiting on those). I'm sure once someone's order moves, it will get posted here.
Forgot to mention, I've seen others report getting cancellations on their shipment and so far all have been from people who ordered multiple vans. That tells me they're still trying to figure out what the cheapest way to package multiple orders to the same address is on their end.
There's no official word on if the van is actually going to see a rerelease or what's going to be at Target later this month, correct?
@swordagent Trevor suggested in an interview, and I have no idea how long ago or with whom the interview was, that they ordered more than what they sold initially and extra product would be available for those who missed out. Doubtful it's sold at Target, probably through the store. I would also assume they need to see what the fail rate is first before they start selling off any extra stock as they'll need some for returns/exchanges. And if there's enough demand, they could open up more orders. They have pretty much done that with every NECA store exclusive that wasn't a convention exclusive so it's a reasonable expectation the same will happen here.
Word. I'll keep my eyes peeled then. Changed careers recently, and don't sit at a computer anymore. Been tougher to keep up.
Mine is listed as Hillside NJ origin. Being that I live in NJ, hopefully it arrives quickly once it's shipped. But I don't expect it to ship soon. That tracking number has been listed for almost a week.
I live in MA and the last time NECA shipped me something from the NJ location it arrived the next day.
