The one good thing you can say about Haulathon is you know when they'll be on the site.  It's just, y'know ... good luck.

Did anyone like the Sakai turtles at toyfair? they looked pretty good to me, they have a more stocky look, kinda like the Ronin turtles. they look different and cool.

@nightwolf agreed, I think the Sakai Turts turned out really nice.

I like they appear to he shorter than the standard Turtles (unless that’s a weird new Taller Usagi with them), I like they’re very expressive, I like they’ve got the different skin tones, I like they’re Ultimates and not a Four pack (I’m getting all four, I just love the option!)… just an overall winning set!

Toy Shiz just says "coming to Target in and around April", but at least five of these were confirmed Haulathon items in varous walkthroughs I watched, so possibly all of them are?

Feels like the safest bet going with NECA is that if there's a new toon release coming it's going to be tied to some event "dump" at Target. At least this time, it doesn't look too bad for me personally. Toon Shredder and Mirage April are the only figures I really want. I'm probably in for the other toon stuff save for the Dark Leonardo. The other stuff doesn't interest me.

Ultimate Toon Shredder is my most-sought one here, then Panda Khan.  Also Mirage April and the new Foot Assassin or whatever, but they'll be available elsewhere.  Tempted by, but not wanting to fall for the Mirage Shredder because I want a non battle-damaged version still.  And I want the toon Wyrm, but not the Tattoo it comes with, so ... we'll see what they're asking for it, and how spaced out these particular releases are.

I feel the same on Wyrm/Tattoo. Tattoo was one of, if not the, lamest character released during the vintage toy line's heyday. I never cared for him and really don't want the figure, but Wyrm is a cool design. I'm guessing $60 will be the new standard price for a two-pack, maybe even $65. The other two-pack is at least kind of fun and goofy. I don't know, we'll see what I end owing the Tax Man in April, I guess, before I commit to everything in the Toon line. There's a decent chance these two-packs linger on shelves for awhile too, so unless NECA only sends a small amount of units to each store they should be around into the summer and possibly bound for a future blind box release in 2028.

Man... I thought I was going to be safe only having to track down Panda Khan... but it looks like I'm really going to want that Tattoo, too.    Of course it comes in a two pack with a figure I want no part of -  par for the course,  I've had to sell off so many single halves of various turtles two packs.   Definitely looks like I'll be looking to sell off that Wyrm figure.     But Tattoo came out nice and I'll be eager to get that one.

Anyone getting the Ramen Toys MUSK sewer as an alternative to NECA?  https://ramentoy.com/products/dio-04-super-musk

I think the preorder ends Monday. $250 (plus shipping which for me would be $58) basically gets you two rooms and some of the street above. I'm at least tempted. I keep intending to just build one, but haven't done it yet as I still haven't needed the space, but the day is coming. I have two street scenes and they're pretty much fully loaded at this point and I do have a few figures inside that aren't even visible anymore because I used Nostalgia Unboxed's window covers. The Ramen set arguably is a better fit for a movie lair as they're doing a mostly realistic paint job. That doesn't bother me. I don't know. I have no experience with Ramen Toys so I'm skeptical of how it will turn out and how long it will take for fulfillment. I don't believe their 2025 release date.

Also, FYI their website sucks. I keep getting this stupid pop-up for the dio even when on the actual page. It's some pretty shoddy web design.

I'm on the fence, but likely no. Less so faith in the product, but timing and the DIY draw. I think I'm gonna grab the Mondo Egon-Boogieman 2 pack and also maybe maybe maybe support the Mythic Legion's dragon, so it's just too much at the moment.

I think it's a cool idea, and maybe I'll pick it up later if it hasn't inflated too much in price. At the same time, though, it still seems like a pretty easy art project to emulate (I used to build stop-mo animation sets and this is about as easy as you could get), and there are a lot of cheap doll furniture pieces out there to get creative with. The big plus of a buid-your-own sewer to me is fitting my shelf dimensions to a T. And I'm OK if it's not exactly like the cartoon/movie/comic/etc

I ended up not putting in an order as well. People seem happy with the quality of products they get from Ramen, but I just plain don't feel like dropping 300 bucks right now on a sewer lair I won't even have until probably next year. The early bird also ended so it's 300 plus shipping for what would have been 250 plus shipping last week so I have zero incentive now to throw in.

I ended up putting an order in for the delux MUSK set at BBTS today, after getting the REV04 RECOIL van from Ramen. The quality seems to be there, and having the more solid street compared to NECA's thin flimsy option seemed the better choice.

I didn't realize BBTS was carrying it. That would save a few bucks since their shipping is much cheaper. I'll have to give it more thought.

I guess we're back? No sign of Haulathon near me in MA. I might miss it too as I'm leaving town Wednesday afternoon and won't be back until late Friday evening. Hopefully Shredder isn't in the online drop Friday. The more I look at what's coming the more I think I'll just be happy getting him.
