This will be released as a single pack, as you can see the clear plastic blister that the figure will come in above, and it looks the same width as a single pack ultimate release. Perhaps this figure is coming very soon too, as part of a Fall Geek Out or something.

Many of the figures recently revealed in this line I expect will not be coming out until March 2025 because of the exclusive Target agreement.

I'm also not seeing a lot of shading on these new reveals, although it is hard to tell as it is mostly on the rear of the figures. I wonder if NECA is not doing that anymore. I hope they do continue with the shading personally.

I get a very genuine sense of glee seeing what NECA has been able to pull off here. It's trite and not entirely true to call it a 'dream come true' - but it's pretty close. I absolutely love seeing these toy designs getting translated into cartoon 'what ifs.'  I was so hoping that Space Don and Samurai Mikey were the beginning of something and I can't see myself not getting Tat and Khan. Especially the latter - @misfit was bang on about that.

If NECA rolls out a 'cartoon' King Lionheart I'm going to lose my mind. This 'toy into cartoon' stuff is pulling me back into NECA TMNT pretty hard.

Robo and Veebs did a walkthrough last night:

Not much new info, just some details on accessories and such. Everything is dated Q3 2024 except Panda Khan who is Q1 2025.

I promise I don't aim to harsh anyone's buzz here, but the 2012 stuff is kind of a relief for me.  Between that and the latest Archie reveals, I'm gonna be glad to have the releases I'm interested slow down for a bit.  There's just been so much Turtle stuff the last couple years and I could use the break!  Even the latest Mirage reveals didn't really do a ton for me.

2012, huh…

I guess I’ll have to crack into that DVD set to see if there’s anything there I’d want…

but if NECA can do more modern Turtles, would absolutely love some Rise of the TMNT, I would be all in on that!

I have no interest in the Archie stuff.   Movie stuff is done for me.   I never liked the Wolf cartoon, but I've gotten plenty of figures from it since they looked nice.  The 2012 show was my favorite so far (although I need to rewatch 2k3 and finish 2012), so I'm in for the 2012 stuff.  At least the main characters.  Once they start revealing more, I imagine we should spin them off into their own thread.

I think what could be really interesting or really disappointing about a NECA 2012 collection is the ancillary characters. I remember when the Playmates figures first came out and it was so intensely disappointing that all the very large characters from the show were made smaller than the Turtles themselves. A scale-appropriate 2012 Leatherneck from NECA would be pretty crazy.

I'm the guy that is more excited about 2012 than Mirage or Archie.  Having said that, I'm not looking to start a whole new line of collecting.  I'll probably be in for the brothers and maybe a mutant or two like Tiger Claw and Slash.  A good Dogpound figure could be quite fun.  Bah.  This might test my resolve a bit.

2012 had so many really great redesigns that I'm actually scared about having to start another collection if NECA goes deep.

2012 might be my fondest iteration of the franchise. Once I see what they are making, I highly doubt I’d pass on a single thing.

My kids and I watched 2012 together so I have an attachment to that show that's different from my attachment to the rest. I'm definitely interested in getting some turtles, though I don't know how deep I want to go. While I think the show is the best TMNT show that's ever been, I wasn't always in love with the art design. Shredder was cool so I'd probably get him. I might be able to keep it tidy though. Usagi had a good look in that show too and given that NECA has that license I'm guessing they'll do a figure of him.

For a lot of people, Tempestra is one of the 'essentials' still unreleased from this line! Many collectors still want her to complete a 'The Night of the Rogues' roster.
