The punk set is surprisingly easy to find in my area compared to every other turtle four pack in NECA TMNT history. But I suppose it is less appealing to casual fans who just want the "normal" turtles. I'm not going to complain too much about availability but I will say, personally I think it sucks when the turtles aren't sold as a set. It ends up being more of a hassle and let's face it, how many "collectors" aren't just buying all of them anyway. Normally I'm anti-multipack but TMNT is the exception.
There are two sets at one store, four sets at another, of the punk turtles. I don’t think they’re highly demanded by me. Even the pizza club figures aren’t seeing much movement. I’ve seen multiples of Leo the most, then Mike, then Raph. I haven’t seen Don at all-o. (See what I did there)
Financially, I prefer when they're individual, as long as they're all easy to find so "one at a time" is not only possible, but kind of fun, because then you can be like "who do I want today?"
I only have two out of four BST AXN IDW so far, and it "took me" two months to complete the Mutant Mayhem quartet. And those are all insanely cheaper than NECA lol.
@theknightdamien yeah my bad, I did move the goal post, I didn't remember the convo entirely between the blackout. And no offense taken, so long as you don't find out this is actually Brian Flynn's burner account.
Never saw Pizza Club at the two Targets in my neck of the woods. The punk-pack and Mikey/Donnie 2-pack are hanging on. Lots of Robot B&R's emerged. There are a couple of the big Mirage foot hanging out too but otherwise everything has been nabbed up.
First Joel Weinshanker is spying on us, trying to hype up his overpriced products, and now Brian Flynn!? Is nowhere sacred!?
@hopethisworks 🤣 I wish it were that easy to get Flynn to read what we say about him.
Totally cool. I had to read over what we were saying a bit before I responded because I, also, totally forgot what we were originally even talking about.
I think the hardest thing would be the Bebop and Rocksteady re-release. I only saw it at my Target when I bought my pack. But for the new stuff? Probably Usagi. I saw it twice I think, but most of the stores had plenty of everything else. The Mirage foot all got stocked but sold through pretty quickly, but I'd say around here, everything was pretty solidly plentiful.
In my area (Milwaukee) I’ve seen restocks but the only pack I don’t see anymore is the Punk 4 Pack, Samuari Mike/SpacecDon and Bebop/Rocksteady re-release. Everything else is still plentiful around here which is nice to see vs empty shelves of everything being sold out instantly.
Looks like Summer Geek-Out is a thing. No confirmation on participants, but if it's exclusives to Target then there's a non-zero chance that a toon item appears. And we know a few are still coming. Have fun?
IF NECA is participating in this Geek-Out (not a given), it's likely only going to be one of the six Fridays. Geek-Out usually has a different company each week, no?
On a random note, do you think we're likely to get an ultimate/pizza club style Shredder?
Yes. In fact, I think Trevor may've even said as much in one of the youtube interviews of the past few months.
