I think they're probably better without. Even if you're not worried about the hips, and as much as I love the cel shading in the line, the boys were released when they were doing it real HEAVY on the figures. They got more and more subtle as figures were released, and now these two are just so vibrant and clean without it...gotta give them the upper hand.

Also I should note that the "older" verisons are the V2s from the online order. They have slightly different paint from the V1s that were released initially.

I really don't know if I like the new versions colors and lack of shading on the back. It's weird to drop it now after everything else in the line has it...
Yes, that is poor that they have dropped the shading on their backs, as you want them to match the style of 90%+ of the line.
At first I wondered whether they were starting to do it as a cost-saving exercise when I saw the lack of shading on the punk turtles, but then Samurai Usagi and Business Suit Casey Jones both have shading on them, so NECA are correctly still having the shading on current new releases. So it is a real shame to see this lack of consistency here once again with Bebop and Rocksteady.
I definitely prefer the paint on the old Bebop and Rocksteady, especially Bebop, to the new ones. I'd love to ditch those wretched hips, but I don't know if I 60 dollars want to ditch them. Especially if I like the rest of the figure more. It's crazy it took them this long to make that change though.

We’ve had a stomach bug running through our house this week. It felled my daughter for the first half, and now my son. I was able to get out tonight when the boy requested strawberries and Jello and happened upon the rep as he was putting stuff out. Still just one of anything. Grabbed the Casey set, no space adventure/samurais set.
How much does the punk turtle 4 pack retail for? I'm trying to figure out how much I'm overpaying if I go ahead and order from Ali Express.

Also, everyone kept saying today was the day (the only reason I'm up this early with the office bug that was going around), but now I'm seeing FB say it's Sunday instead...I ALREADY MISSED THE CIRCLE COUPONS & BONUS LAST WEEK, AND TOO MANY PEOPLE ALREADY HAVE EVERYTHING OFFERED, TARGET & NECA. I'M BEYOND TIRED OF THIS.
The page is basically blank, and when you click on either "New at Target," "Exclusive to Target," or the "NECA" tabs, those pages are literally blank white with just a header.

yeah “they charge shipping!” but my dude, gas ain’t free nor is the mental toll of constantly checking physical Targets, no one cares if you get them first, you’ll enjoy them even if you’re the last person on the planet to get their set, just breath and wait.
I know the pain of not being able to use the Target Circle coupons, I walked into Target and saw a fellow pushing a shopping cart full of Haulathon goodies to self check out (only thing for sure I know he got was the Synjas two pack and bloody Predator, so who knows what else I missed by seconds), but Sailor V! I didn’t turn to dust because I missed out and someday I’ll have my business suit Casey, it just wasn’t fated to be last Tuesday!
So are the items that we keep seeing pictures posted online going to be the only new figures for Haulathon? (Kirby, Baxter, the foot soldiers, the pizza club turtles, suit Casey, Bebop/Rocksteady, costumed turtle two pack, and the punk turtle 4 pack?)
Or is that just the first week? I thought I remember talk that the Archie wrestling Turtles 4 pack was going to be a part of this. I saw signage on the endcap in one picture that mentioned 28 never before seen figures or something? Why do they have to make all of this so stressful. Just let me know everything that is coming ahead of time and when I can order it online so I can budget and plan.
I'm guessing the archie 4 pack, vacation bebop and rocksteady, and whatever else are probably the releases for next haulathon/geek out.

I thought it was a little crazy that they were doing 3.5 sets of Turtles for one Haulathon but all of these companies seem to not care that they are dumping too much at one time.
Hour and a half to my nearest Target and I just can't bring myself to drive it not even knowing if they were put out, or sold, or being held in the back til Sunday.
I just want Mirage Baxter. Don’t need any of the toon stuff. Hope I can just get him online.
