An ultimate Slash makes sense as we were missing a few weapons that didn't come with the original Slash figure. I seem to recall a flamethrower was one of the weapons that we didn't get, so having that with a cool flame effect would be insane.

Shocked to find all four pizza club turtles, yojimbo, casey/foot set, and the punk turtles at a target nearby.  They must have just stocked them this afternoon.  Didn't buy any.  The only turtles I'm interested in from NECA are toy color turtles.  And if they can't make them or never make them, that's fine, I'm good with my TID set.  Admittedly the Punk set was very tempting, but at $150 I knew I'd have some buyer's remorse because I don't "love" the set overall.

As for the Pizza Club turtles, that's on us for ever calling them "Ultimate".  Were they ever advertised as Ultimate?  The box just says Pizza Club.  Personally I don't have any desire for the PC Turtles.  I wouldn't want Raph screaming 24/7, Donnie looking angry 24/7...they're just very lackluster releases.  They should stand alone as good toys for the price but IMO they don't.  Here's a quick breakdown of what each Ultimate figure should have: All the TID heads, all the hands they've made, their weapons and "action" versions of the weapons like Donnie has.  That's it.  Simple.  Giving each one an extra small unique accessory like turtle com or turtle grappling hook would be gravy.  

I'm sorry I used up everyone's luck finding these things at Target when it's my first trip in weeks and I wasn't even looking for them.

I'd love to have the TiD Turtles instead, but that ship's sailed.  The PC ones are what I've got a chance at now.

Both sets are cool, it's just a shame that the green doesn't match. I am happy that the chest pieces are painted different colours, and that was all that was needed to distinguish between the two sets of figures.

My Target that had already gotten the "smaller case" of everything got a restock already!  I bought 'em out pretty much, but they had 5 Punk Turtle packs, a few Usagi, no single Turtles though.  What's MOST interesting, is they have the original Bebop and Rocksteady set out! AND it's manufacturing date is 2023, and has the updated packaging with the updated black square in the corner on the bottom, as well as using the actual toon Bebop and Rocksteady on the art instead of the Style Guide versions.

Bought it to see if the hips got fixed (since that last online order batch was completely wrecked by a factory QC error).

Oh my God, they have the new hips!  I REPEAT ROCKSTEADY AND BEBOP FINALLY HAVE THE NEW FRIGGIN' BALL HIPS!

Maaaan, they might get me with that. Already got Bop & Rock, but I had a Leatherhead break at the hips and it's made me afraid to handle any figures using those parts now. Ones with the new hips would be much more playable.

I also picked up Bebop and Rocksteady (normal).  The endcap also had the robo versions and the Triceratons 2-Pack.  No Pizza Turtles, but I think they had everything else.

Also I just realized these no longer have the cel shading. I wonder if that means the line is moving forward without that?  I know they were making it lighter as the line was going on but now it seems to be missing all together.

Do you think they look better with cell shading, or without? Bebop and Rocksteady I mean, not the line in general. 

Jeez, sounds like I should probably be making a Target trip sooner than later.  Bebop and Rocksteady are definite needs for my collection yet as well.
