To be fair, matching colors for stuff released years apart can be a challenge, but the new turtles aren't just different shades, they also don't have the two tone/cel shading previous figures had, and that part has to be intentional.

I echo the sentiments expressed above, this is really poor that they have not maintained the consistent shade of green as the earlier releases. It totally undermines the whole point of having the interchangeable nature of the heads.
I ordered a set of the pizza club turtles off AliExpress and they've already shipped. I just don't have the time to haunt Target looking for the single copy of each figure when it's "supposed" to go out when it was likely bought days prior, and I'm not counting on them being on the Target site for long IF they even go up on it at all.
I feel ya on that. I made WAY too many trips to Target getting the stuff I got. I had gotten impatient and ordered Samurai Usagi on Ali. I coulda had it already if I just got it at Target. Hoping to only need one more trip later this week to get the last 2 exclusives I need (the Mike/Don Adventure set and a second Casey (suit) and foot soldier (split)).
I'm kinda miffed that these Pizza Club Turtles don't have the alternate expression/head options. Seems to me that should be a minimum for an "Ultimate" figure.
They technically don't call them ultimate, do they? They def has some odd/unique accessories, though.
Maybe not, but isn't that what they've always called the single-pack vs. 2-pack releases? Anyways. Just annoyed cuz I don't have any Turtles at all yet.
Stores should be restocking each week for a little while, and Aliexpress has the pizza club turtles. Last I checked, it was like 17 bucks over the retail + tax price, but it might have gone up some more since then.
Just to chime in on the whole AliExpress thing I've never had an issue with any of the Toon Turtles product ordered through them.
Caved on Donnie's Lab. I honestly love the Living Room playset more than the Street Scene, so I didn't want to miss out.
Plus this is the kind of things that aren't popping up on AliExpress so I don't want to risk not getting it.
I happened upon three sets of the punk Turtles at Target yesterday and was turned off by the price. I don't know what I was expecting it to be......$120, $130 maybe. I get that $150 works out to $35 each which is a standard NECA price, but I just wasn't feeling like dropping that big amount, I guess. It was really hard but I left the punk Turtles there. Ugh, just thinking about it makes me want to go back and see if they're still there. I know I'll regret this....
I've found nothing, and I keep looking, and other stores too far north & too far south have already sold out. Boy, both companies have got to be rolling in the dough, selling hundreds of these to one-two people per store.

Yeah, this is me right now after several failed attempts. I've been around toy collecting long enough that I'm almost numb to it.
I'm going to give the Target online drop a try and if that fails then I'll look to AliExpress.
Some more barcodes are making the rounds. They were shared on April 1st, so take that for what it's worth. Vacation Bebop and Rocksteady had already been revealed, but also showing up is an ultimate toon Slash. That's something Trevor hinted at in the past so it's not out of question. I'm guessing it's on the Archie buck.
