Also Samurai Usagi doesn't come with either of the two spears that the Samurai Usagi in the Year of the Rabbit four pack came with, which is a shame.
It's not the same figure, so why should it? It makes them both unique, and if you want both, you had a chance to get the 4 pack already and will soon have the chance for the other.
Is the TMNT Samurai Usagi figure not the same sculpt as the Year of the Rabbit one? I thought it was. If it is the same sculpt then I would say that this is 'the same figure' for all intents and purposes. If not then I stand corrected on that point.
Also, the Cartoon TMNT Space Usagi I thought came with the exact same accessories that the non-TMNT Black and White Stan Sakai Space Usagi came with. To my knowledge they did not leave some accessories out that the Black and White Space Usagi had.
So these are one or potentially two reasons for my rationale as to why I was expecting the same treatment this time round for Samurai Usagi. Is that enough reasons for you?
So what are the chances I can get all 4 Ultimate Turtles at MSRP if I go to a Target every day?
Probably something silly like 28% as there only seems to be one Ultimate Turtle box in each Haulathon case. Granted some stores get two cases I think, but there are only a few of these Ultimate Turtle boxes out there, which is not good when these are supposed to be an entry point for a lot of people into the line that missed out on the earlier releases of the turtles.

You'd have to be there at opening every day, and hang out there until close every day, somewhere close to the toys/electronics area to see when things get stocked, and be one of the first to get it.
That's what the scalpers do.
That's disappointing. I was genuinely hopeful they'd stock plenty of Turtles. I have the Playmates turtles surrounded by a bunch of way better NECA figures. It looks odd.
So for one, Haulathon goes on for at least four weeks, right? So there'll be plenty of restocks as it goes and goes. Also there's going to be Friday online drops for the stuff like last year I would imagine. It might still be a pain in the ass since Target's website sucks, but at least that's something.
Haulathon is likely again going to be a commercial/hype event for the NECA online store drops later this year. I imagine all the toon stuff will eventually be sold there later this year. Hopefully they will launch the four brothers all at once or else they'll be $50 a turtle.
I could see the punk turtles hanging around though. My old Target had about 4-5 of the old style-guide colored 4-packs hanging out for month or two. I think the price tag was a deterrent.

I wouldn't rely on that happening. From last year's Haulathon, only the toon accessory set was sold on the NECA store later in the year, and that was only really because it was being combined with the Living Room diorama offering, and you needed the TV from the accessory set in order to complete the diorama.
Yeah, it's anyone's guess, really. But usually the highly sought after stuff goes up on their store (April, Mirage 4-pack, etc), especially when it is 4-brothers related.
Outside of the accessory pack, most of last year's items hung around and peg warmed after the initial hype died down... I still have some of the 2-packs at my stores, a year later.

Yes, although hopefully this peg warming stuff sells through eventually. I think there are still a few stores with Punk Frog packs and Wingnut and Screwloose.
Unfortunately, I think all the items in this set (for cartoon at least) are not in the peg warming category. Almost everything is actual turtles or sought after characters (Casey, Usagi).
@chooch555 most reps have a loose schedule. It's one of those things where you have to do your homework and go regularly so you can note when the NECA section has been tidied up and stocked. In my town, the rep seems to come around noon on Tuesdays and Fridays, but it can change and has in the past if there's a new rep. And if Target starts stocking these items then it throws the whole system off. If this is to be a true Haulathon with its own endcap situation, you'll probably be able to figure out where it's going to be if you're going by daily as the Target employees will clear out the section and put up the signage.
Is it weird that I'm actually HOPING the Ultimate Turtles cost more than $35 so that I can try to lock in a quick order of just the one figure before it sells out and still get free shipping? And then go back for the rest of the stuff that I'm less worried about, or that will be available later at other sources.
Someone over at the Technodrome Forums posted the Shipper contents and prices
Each shipper box contains the following:
3 Four Packs - $149.99
1 Casey/Foot Two Pack - $59.99
- Synja Bot 2 Pack - $59.99
- Usagi Ultimates - $34.99
1 Mikey Pizza Club Ultimate - $36.99
1 Kirby - $34.99
1 Elite Foot Soldier - $34.99
1 Baxter Stockman - $34.99
I agree. None of the Toon stuff screams peg-warmer to me.
I want all the Toon stuff except Usagi (one is enough for my displays). We'll see how I fare come Friday as historically getting Haulathon stuff in-store where I live is an exercise in futility.
