Got my order in and am very excited they made Donnie’s lab. He has always been my favorite turtle and as silly as it might seem to have been influenced by a cartoon, I’ve always felt he had played at least a small factor in my choice to get a computer science degree.
Some of the things in that diorama look so unfinished to me. I feel like it needs stickers. That said of course I will be getting it.
I have 3 bookcases right next to each other that are deep enough for these. The living room is in the center and I'm going to attempt to cut a circular hole through the sides to run a PVC pipe through (painted) to connect the holes in the sides of the dioramas so that they connect through the bookcase sides.
Couldn't get the living room, can't get the lab.
That's a great idea, though. I'm seriously considering having a hole cut in the "street level" shelf of my display, so the "sewer" shelf below it can utilize a working manhole/ladder, lol.
Found an Evil Rex yesterday. No interest, but they're out there if I'M seeing them in the often-neglected Chicagoland suburb stores.

Still somewhat baffled at how popular and hard to acquire Evil Rex has been. Must be a combination of little new product for several months, and lower production numbers coming off the COVID highs.
Yeah, this looks like it could be a bit harder to acquire than the ones released up to midway through 2023. The Bugman pack still alludes me, so like Evil Rex-1, that probably had a smaller run too.
The figure hasn't even been out in a wide release for any significant period of time, so of course it's going to be hard to find right now.

I don't have Bugman yet either, but I've seen in at Target and he's selling for less than MSRP on ebay. Let's see how Evil Rex shakes out. If it's just this one wave of shipments then that probably won't be enough. I've seen numerous social posts with guys cleaning out the 3-4 they find in store.

My Mass Production Rex came in. I probably could have had it sooner going to the store, but it's a bit of a trip, and this was only item I was looking for, so didn't want to make it. Too bad these are so expensive, I'd love to army build it, but then again, even if they were affordable, 15+ is kind of a big ask in shelf space as big as these guys are, lol.

Yeah, I will just be picking up one of these I think. I like the fact that he comes with blast effects for his guns and also Rex-1's guns, so they can have a fire fight like they were displayed as during SDCC last year.
